GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP012

Global Design Project #GDP012

Hello everyone.. I am just jumping with joy today.  I have 17 followers!!! Yippee.. I totally exceeded my goal of 15 by December.  Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me.
Today's card I designed as part of a challenge at http://www.global-design-project.com/  This is so exciting.  I didn't have the exact colors they were asking for, but I did my best with what I had, and I think it turned out cute.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

  1. Your card is darling. I'm so sorry about the nerve damage. I can relate, I've had a lot of nerve pain and for now at least, it's gone.

  3. Hi PJ, your CASE of Brian's original card is adorable! I love that the bunnies ears are bent back by the wind as the two make their way down the hill on their sled - cute! Thanks so much for playing at Global Design Project this week.

    1. Oh my goodness.. I honestly can't believe you commented on my humble little card. I have been watching you on Pinterest and youtube. and enjoy learning techniques and such. I feel like you're a "famous stamp star" so when I came across your name in my comments I was smiling from ear to ear ☺ I came to Global Design Project all by accident, but when I saw that you were the "CASE Designer" I knew I just had to try and make a card. Thank you for the kind words regarding my card and my audience. and btw-I like that word better then followers.. Perhaps that's how I might refer to my friends, if that's ok. again thank you for stopping by.

  8. Hi PJ
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you can get a Cmas card or project in for a chance at the monthly prize!

I too have had back surgery and have nerve damage as a result. I go for needle guided imagery nerve root blocks at the hospital in the city nearest me. I also take Nova Gabapentin. It has been a godsend to help with the pain. I think another manufacturer makes something similar called Lyrica. Have you tried anything like that?
Sadly for me, in order to take enough to control the pain, it makes my hands and feet swell...dratttt... So my doctor is playing with the dosage to find the right balance to take a little more than the edge off the pain but not send me over into the swelling...

Your card is very cute. You did a great job on the challenge theme!

    1. Oh golly thank you so much I will try to get a card in at your blog :) this is all so exciting to me, kind of gives me a bit of direction.. purpose since things went a bit sour with my health.. I'm so sorry to hear about your struggle with nerve damage. I had no idea something could be so painful and debilitating , sometimes I get pretty down. I went from running marathons to barely walking,.. I too have been on gabapentin.. I call it "gabby" haha.. but it didn't really help my pain. I'm a bit nervous of the needles just because of the bad luck with my last 3 spinal injections. I sure do appreciate you sharing with me though. It is helpful to know we are not alone. Blessings to you. also, I too love making my cards but have a hard time getting them sent out to people ;) Keep smiling and Keep Stamping.
