DRIVING MOJO430

Today I made a card for a young lady who just got her driver's license.  A very exciting time.
We are so proud of her.
I also want to enter this card in the sketch challenge at:

  2. The theme (purpose), browns & greens, green & white mat on left, and the brick wall are really great! The brick wall has kind of cardboard appearance. How did you build the brick wall? I am big fan of brick walls. Yours is great!

    1. Brent, Thank you for the nice comments about my card especially the brick background. I used a very heavy piece of card stock that had almost a linen like appearance/texture, I then used my brick embossing folder but I inked it up with my brayer first and then ran it through the big shot.. that is my favorite part of the card too ☺

    2. I like the latitude of textures and colors combination a designer can create. Of not all are great looking. I even do some variance with mortar textures and colors. Adding small bumps, dips, and cracks to bricks randomly can also help the appearance.

    3. Your cards and works of art sound super impressive. I have limited ability and resources but I imagine that a person could make the bricks look almost life like. and that would be amazing.

  3. Thanks for your kind comments. Well I am using MS PowerPoint which is part of Microsoft Office. It includes MS Excel (spreadsheets) and MS Word (word processing). Most people use MS PowerPoint for presentations at work. I have discovered it has so much power in artistic graphics.
