BOXES

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by.

Today I have boxes and more boxes.  I think they are so fun to make.  Up first is this cute wild kingdom pencil/pen box.  It works wonderfully for holding desk top supplies.
Next, I have 2 pictures of the business card box I made,  it also doubles as a post it note holder. It stands up nicely on it's own and is quite sturdy.  I'm pleased with this one, more so then the other one I posted a few days back.  I made two so I can give one away.

Can  you spot the difference between the two?   Hint: I think I like the turquoise sequins best, they seem to pop up the color a bit on the flowers.

This lovely box works well to hold cd's or cards.  It also stands well on it's own, and I'm pleased with how cute it is.  I had no vision on how this was going to turn out.. I just knew I wanted to use the heart punch and went from there.

The last box for today's blog post is this swell versatile one that holds dies, and some stamping products.  I really like the gray and red color combo here.
I hope you enjoyed the vast array of boxes.  Thank you for taking time to stop and browse my blog.  Please come back again soon.

VIEW MASTER BIRTHDAY CARD

Welcome ~Thank you for stopping by.

Today I have for you a view master card.  With 5 different images to display in the window.  I used stampin up stamps.  It was so much fun to make.   I took a picture of each one of the cute images so you could see them.

I can't believe how fast time slips away on a person.  Goodness I didn't even post my SCS post.. so I'll be sharing that in another blog post later today.   I told you I would share this spin card which I later found out is called a view master..Ugh to my ignorance.   I also said I would share a few side yard bloom pictures so here are a few of those as well.  Thank you for your patience with me and my blog.

SUPER STARS

Hello Friends~ I'm so excited to say I now have 41 blog buddies.  Thank you for choosing to follow me.  It truly makes my heart happy to see my little blog grow with friends.
I must now admit to you, that I've been a bit neglectful of my blog.  I get busy stamping and then run out of time for my blogging.   So today we have four cards again.  I actually started with the little purple card on the bottom.   I used the star die, and then I thought oh my goodness it's almost the 4th of July.. so I switched to making a few patriotic cards.  I'm really happy how they turned out. I think my favorite is the one with the foil embossed star background. Which is your favorite?
I also got busy making a few boxes and a spin card that I will post hopefully tomorrow, along with a few pictures of my side yard flowers. ☺

Here is a peach pie I made for my "sweet" hubby this week.

SCS ~ And a Few other Amazing Cards

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.
I made this delightful card for SCS (Scripture Card Sunday)   I used an embossing folder and then sponged the flowers with ink.  I received many helpful tips on this technique, and it is paying off, I think the card turned out lovely.   Pretty in Pink.

Here is another card I made using the same idea, but I dabbed the tulips with many different colors.  Bright and cheery.

This card uses a really easy technique with your sponge daubers just use a circle stencil, or in my case I just punched a piece of paper with different size circles and then sponged the white on top of the already colorful background (which is also sponged) .. make sure that your dauber is clean ..My white circles starting taking on the shade of the background.

The last card I have for you today is  heat embossed.  I really struggle with doing this technique.  I did finally invest in an emboss buddy from the local craft store and that helped quite a bit.   Honestly I think I prefer the embossing folders better, but this card turned out ok.

FINTASTIC

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.

Today I am showcasing my mason jar fish card.  I used a lawn fawn stamp set, and a mason jar I found at the local craft store.  The background is embossed dots with  night of navy  ink sponged over the top.  I think it turned out "fintastic"

BIRTHDAY BOXES

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.

I've been busy making boxes, they are so much fun and I think super cute.  This first box is perfect to put markers or pencils in.  I used it for a hershey candy bar that I gave to my Grandma for her 93 Birthday.

This little craft box on the left is appropriately colored in gold accent glitter because it will hold those little gold nugget candies also from Hershey.

RRCB40~Flower

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.
Hello friends.  Today I made a card for the sketch challenge at:  Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.  I used a stampin up set called love without end from 2003.  I used a lattice die from a local store in town and thought it worked well with the flower.  I added few little sequins to give it some sparkle.
This picture proves these baby squirrels are quick little learners, they found the corn and are loving it.

Hope you enjoyed your visit at my blog♥

SCS~New Technique

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.

SCS~Scripture Card Sunday, a way to keep me growing in faith, and sharing scriptures with others.  This card I made today has many cool techniques, most of which are brand new to me but it was fun to make and I'm glad I gave it a try.  Please check out the how to at:  Melissa's Blog  Her card is amazing!

This little fella was so cute hiding out on the tree branch as still as could be for about 5 seconds.  Until his brothers and sisters found him.

Get Well Soon #GDP039

Welcome to my blog~Thank you for stopping by.
Today I made a card for the Get well theme challenge at: Global Design Project.  I used and older stampin up set, Called Happy Healing I believe it's from 1999.   I don't know what made me choose that olive green color for the blanket/pillow, ick..kind of makes me sick ~ it matches nothing on the card.  Any ways I found the cutest little lollipop brad and thought it would be a "sweet" little embellishment.   I glittered the ice cube nightstand to make it look all frosted.
 Very cool.  haha.
Here is the little band-aid box I made using the same stamp set. I think it turned out cute.   I know the challenge was for a card, but I just had to share this adorable little box too.
I was able to get a picture of all 3 baby squirrels playing the other day. That's no easy task.   Gosh they are funny little critters.
I hope you stop back again real soon.

FRIENDS

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by to look at my blog.
I have a vast array of cards and projects today.  I put my "Friend" card on top.  In hopes that you all know how much I appreciate you stopping by with comments.   I stamped the bottom half, but the top part was printed paper on had on hand, I think the double bow works good for this card.

Next my least favorites.  I don't find them very pretty,  my sponge technique needs practice.  Any suggestions?

These two are bright and colorful.  I especially love the heart one on the right. I found something similar on Pinterest.

Lastly for this post The super easy to make business card holder, which also holds post it notes.  I love it.

If you have any comments or suggestions
don't hesitate to leave me a message.

I hope you stop back again real soon.
