SCS

 ~Welcome~
Today for SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) I made two cards.  Both of these cards were made using stampin up stamps and inks. The verses however are from another company.  I wish I could remember the name so I could share that with ya all, if anyone knows the company that sells these verse stamps, please let me know in the comment section.  That would be super great, and very appreciated.  I really like how the hot pink and black play so well off each other, very snazzy (that's a fun word)  The little black dots on the bottom of the card on the right hand side are from this nifty little dot pen that I bought a bazillion years ago, and it's still inky ☺
Here are a few of my little friends that come and visit the deck.  They really enjoy their snacks.  We had 9 playing in the yard at the same time.

I'M A FAN OF HSS243

I want to extend a WARM Welcome to those just popping in.  Thank you for stopping by. Hope you will enjoy your visit.
Today I made a card for the sketch challenge at:Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I used my stampin up dies, however the stamps I found at the dollar section in walmart. My daughter says, "she's a FAN of this card" haha  I had to take one more picture so you could see the embossed paper better.  I think the picture on top looks better though. ☺
I also wanted to add the two cards I didn't blog about earlier this week.  Gosh so frustrated with myself again for missing my SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) post, but I wanted to make sure to include it here.
Of course true to myself the verse ended up a bit on the uneven side again *sigh, but you know it's homemade this way.  Otherwise I think this card turned out lovely.  I used stampin up products for the most part of the card, but the verse is from a company that I can't remember, if any one has and idea please let me know.
My last card is the Flamingo pink card.  I Received this little stamp from a friend, and really haven't used it much.  However now there seems to be a craze for flamingos and pineapples.. so it all worked out well.
Also, I must post a picture of my little critters again, this time I got "chippy"  this rascal had me laughing out loud. As you can see in the picture he liked his little red berry until it dropped between the deck boards, but gosh he was so cute trying to see where it went.

Whaley Cute

I want to extend a WARM Welcome to those just popping in.  Thank you for stopping by. Hope you will enjoy your visit.

Goodness gracious I'm losing the Blog Bug,  I just can't seem to keep posting like I use too.  I am sure it has a lot to do with the fact my daughter and her boyfriend moved in with us, so not as much free time, but I'm not complaining, it's so refreshing and nice to have them here.  I am not so lonely then.  The other issue I think I have is that when I search pinterest I notice all the fabulous cards and become overwhelmed with my lack of ability, and so become easily frustrated when every card don't turn out as a masterpiece (wink wink) I am sure that a stampin up purchase will ignite the flame of creativity again.. just waiting for the budget & hubby to give me the ok.
With all that being said, today's card is a little shaker card using a dollar stamp from the Michael's store, and nail glitter from my daughter, the sentiment is from lawn fawn.  and of course I feel like the embossing bubbles works well with anything sea/fish related.

My second card is all stampin up stamps but I used this really pretty metallic paint from Michaels to highlight the petals.  I  will need to practice with these little bottles.

SIMPLE STAMPING

Welcome~Thanks for popping in.
Today's card is very simple and straight forward, with not much to explain.  I used stampin up stamps and the wink of stella pen to give it a bit of sparkle, I was going to put sequins on each of the flower centers but chose the pen paint instead.  I did put a brad in the big flower.  I think it turned out OK. Nothing to spectacular          but still homemade.

This lovely little mushroom is the perfect shape.  I had to snap a picture of it before my dog decided to plow it over.  I always think one day I'll find a little frog underneath drinking ice tea or lemonade.  While basking in it's shade☺

Ahhh. my squirrels at it again hopping all over the deck.  They are a rascally bunch this year, but so delightful to watch as they play.
Hope you enjoyed your visit.
Please stop back again soon.

WILD WOODS DESK CADDY

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by.
Today I made a desk caddy.  I found the example on pinterest.  Here is the link: Inspiring inkin' awesome directions and very simple to make.  I plan on making some for gifts, and decorating them in a seasonal fashion too.  I used "Definitely Decorative Pines" stamp set and another stampin up set from 1998 I just don't have the name.  I bought the set at a second hand store in town.  I think this caddy turned out spectacular.

Now I have a few pictures of the friendly   visitors in my yard.
These little critters/birds, are so busy from sun up until sun down.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog.

SCS ~Stunning Fold Technique

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by.
Today for SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) on my blog, I made a special card with a unique folding technique that I came across at:  Barb Stamps.  It was very easy to make.  I think the receiver of   such a card would truly appreciate it's one of a kind fold.  I used Stampin up stamps along with a verse to make this card.  I added a few sequins and a little brad for the center of the flower.

My next card is a birthday card also using stampin up products,  I added a few sequins here as well and a cute little silver star brad.  I liked the blurry picture on the right.. so I shared it.

My final card for today uses a combination of stampin up stamps and washi tape with a few brads in the upper right hand corner. I have so much fun making cards.  I just wish I was as good at sending them
out to friends and family.
I have good intentions and then I put them in a basket and forget about them.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and will stop back again soon.

200th POST

Welcome~ Thank you for stopping by.
Can you believe it is my

We have exciting news in our home:  Our daughter and her boyfriend have moved back from Virginia.  We are happy to have them stay with us☺
So with that being said I made this card for my daughter so she could send it to her  dear friend and co-worker back in VA.
I used a 1993 What's Moo stamp set from Stampin up.  Did a bit of layering the card stock and of course used the wink of stella pen in the middle of the sunflower for a bit of sparkle.
I also added 2 little brads on the bottom to tie it all together.

I can't believe today marks my 200th post. It's so exciting.   Thank you so much for becoming a follower of my blog, and leaving sweet comments of support and encouragement.

TART AND TANGY

 Welcome~Thank you for stopping by.

Just feels like summer (finally) here in Wisconsin.  I Lve the heat.  Makes everything hurt a lot less.  I can be outside more, even if it is just sitting.  Also love how everything is blooming and beautiful.
So I made a card today in reflection of that.  I used a couple older stampin up sets called tart and tangy and Season by Season to make these two cards.   I found the cute citrus stickers at the dollar tree.  I think they are a nice little touch to the card, along with the sequins.
I used and embossing folder for the bird houses and sponged some color on them to make them pop a little more.  I  brought out the stampin up bird punch and Lawn Fawn grass die  to finish it off.
Hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back soon.

Today I made a Birthday card in honor of a fellow blogger's special day.  Nanny's Pansy Patch   A  colorful pocket bouquet of blessings.
I used all stampin up stamps in this card, and I tried to layer the flowers
and added different embellishments
to each one.  Have a Wonderful Day.
