RRCB62~BIKE BASKET FULL OF FLOWERS

I'm kind of pushing the bar here a bit with this card, because you see it's only a year old.  It is called Pedal Pusher🚲 and it's from the saleabration  Stampin up catalog 2016.   I'm going to submit this card to the  spring flower challenge at: Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.   I just ordered this retired set off of ebay, because my daughter and her boyfriend have a tandem bike, and I thought it would be delightful to make them cards using this set.  So this is my first time playing with it.  I thought it went well for this challenge, because in spring we all get our bikes out of storage and the buds start blooming.   I used a floral background paper and embellished it with a flower brad.  The bike I fussy cut out and then used my little knife to cut around the tire spokes that's really fussy cutting😉.  I added some beautiful flowers in the basket.  I imagine while biking  the young couple pulled over so he could pick some wild flowers in the field for his little lady, and so now their basket is full as well as their hearts.💗   My imagination runs away sometimes.
I've added a picture of  my daughter and her boyfriend taking ride on their tandem bike in the alley behind our house.

I also included a picture of the little guest on my deck.. He was peaking around the post at me.

Thank you so much for visiting me today.   I hope you will leave a comment, and follow my blog.

  1. I can't believe you fussy cut out the bike - you are an amazing cutter!! Such a cute card and I love your scenerio! Thanks for stopping by with your good wishes. It is really hard to get around with this weight on my foot, but its better than a cast and having no mobility.

  2. You've certainly taken fussy cutting to a whole new level with this card! And it's nice to see this stamp used again - retro is retro, even when it's recently retro, I think. The flower brad is really cute. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber.
