PP379~We Must Celebrate, Heart Happiness Stampin up

I made this card for my dad for Valentine's day.  So hard to express how much we love him and appreciate how strong he has been since mom's passing.  She was his one true love.  The family I grew up in is not a very huggy or emotional bunch.  But the last few weeks with mom, there were a lot more "I love You's" being said and hugs.  SO I just wanted to share with dad how much we love him without getting to "mushy"    I thought this stampin up set called, We Must Celebrate was perfect,  and paired with Heart Happiness for the background hearts and also the center heart that I cut out after stamping it,  to make it look like the group was giving a Valentine.
I think it turned out cute 💖
Well, I tried to learn to knit.  I was excited about this thinking perhaps someday I could manage socks..Well folks.  I left my little wooden knitting needles on my footstool, and HP the little darling decided it was a stick and broken it, and started chewing it to pieces. 😢  So much for that.  Gosh and my first little coaster was ok.. except for one corner.  So I started a bigger project that was suppose to be a dish cloth..it fell off the needle and I had no idea how to get it back on.  *sigh..   Hopefully I'll get some needles again soon.. and keep trying.

WEll back to the card~  I'm going to submit it to the challenge at: The Paper Players

Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

  1. I think your card is so cute and I'm sure your Dad will love it - especially since you made it for him. I used to knit a long time ago. My Grandmother was excellent with it makig us kids sweathers, etc., and wanted me to learn but it was not meant to be!
