Sketch 252~WaterFront Stampin up

I made this card for the challenge at: Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge
As you can see this is my second take on this card.  I included the other card  below.   I thought I cut down the size a bit more to match the sketch design.  BUT apparently NOT.  I even went with a different layout so it would look better in a smaller space.   I tried to improvise it the best I could by sticking my stamped image card stock closer to the top of the card.
I wanted to play with my new stampin up set called waterfront.  I'm not very good with making my own scenery so this is a trial run with it.  I suppose I should have pulled out some watercolor paper to stamp on, since I used my aqua painter, but I did not.   I hopefully will get better with this stamp set.  I've come across some amazing cards.  Gosh there is a lot of talent out here in the Stamp world.  I need a little help sometimes thinking outside the box.
I can honestly say I like my tropical card better then the forest card.  I like how the sun is dipping behind the mountains and how the sentiment is floating in the water.  Hopefully you're all able to read it with the twine placed in between the words.  I tied a little knot on the side to reflect the sketch stars.  I even like the cute little huts, the palm trees just seem to be saying "Relax".
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.  I hope you're having a good day.
Please take a moment and look at all my cards, projects and pictures.  I'm going to be posting one next of the "smooching technique"  I just learned to do.  It's awesome, easy and fun.
I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
