Card #47 for 2024

Hello Friends.  

I'm sneaking in at the last minute to enter this card

in the challenge at:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Spell binder dies 

You will never believe this card started off with lemons.

I don't know how I switched tracks and got so 

off course, but I did an ended up with a Halloween card.  

I used the spellbinder die negative to sponge in 

the black on my card stock, then took a paper doily

and sponged it yellow.  I stamped a few bats in the

center, and proceeded to stamp the other images, color

and cut them out for placement.  

The verse I chose for this card is:

James 4:7KJV

Card #46 for 2024

Hello crafting community. 

I will enter this card in the challenge at:

The stamp sets I used for this card are:

Sentiment with the Spurgeon quote is a 2007 Stampin up stamp.

Painted Harvest

Whale done

Seas the day

Vibrant vases (sentiment)

Quite the group of stamp sets to make one card. 

I used a piece of DSP that I ripped up 7 times for 

a layered background, then I stamped, colored, and cut

out the images to begin placing them on the card.  For

the slider part I just made a cut in the card and slipped it

in there and then put a wider piece on the bottom so it

wouldn't be able to be pulled all the way out. I then used

dimensionals to raise the whole front panel so the pull out

tab would work smoothly.  I will add a short video to my 

instagram page.  

It always amazes me that my cards don't quite ever

follow the vision in my head.  But I guess that's what being 

creative is all about.
