July Technique Challenge~ Cross-Stitched Christmas, Stampin Up

Another Christmas card today.  I'm most excited about this one
because I think I have come up with a clever marketing idea for
my etsy shop.   I have a few cross stitch ornament kits that
I have not made.  So I think I will make a few more of these
cross stitch (stamped) cards and then include one of those kits for sale.
How fabulous, a card + kit = Christmas gift
I will submit this card to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in today's card is:
Stampin Up:  Cross-Stitched Christmas

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

* Please stop in at my Etsy shop.   You might just find a stamp or stamp set you NEED to purchase.  Perhaps even a card.  I know I'd greatly appreciate the sales.  Plus I've recently just added more items.  So make sure to check it out. 😊

HSSSC344~ Toile Christmas, Cardinal Merry Christmas

I made this card for the challenge at:
I started off good, thinking that the DSP was going to be spectacular with
the cardinal.  Then I started trimming it down to size,  and realized
my bird was quite large for the sketch.  But no turning back, so
I decided to carry on and work with it.   I absolutely love coloring this
image.  That's not always the case with other stamps.  This one
just turns out nicely.

#TGIFC274~ Queen Anne's Lace, Stampin Up, Hello Friend

Today I spent a few minutes trying to clean off my table.  I had pulled
out quite a few stamp sets that are older and I was making sure
I am ready to part with them.   I really must start selling some of
my craft supplies in my etsy shop to make room for the new.  😉
However, I did make time to create this fun card
for the challenge at:
It gave me the perfect opportunity to use up a few scraps.
I'm thinking I need to incorporate this into more of my cards, to
help clean out the DSP.
The stamp set featured in today's card is:

PP501 Zoo Globe, Stampin Up, Birthday Card

I absolutely love this stamp set.
It's from stampin Up:
Zoo Globe
I like it because the little zoo animals are adorable, and also I
LOVE water globes, I use to have quite the collection.
I actually posted a picture of them a few weeks ago.
However, I did not use the water globe stamp this time.
I CASE(d) this card with permission from a woman on instagram
You can find Nina here.  She is an amazing card artist.
I never would have thought to stack the animals so cleverly.
I think it's super cute.  However I did make changes to the card so
it would fit the challenge I'm playing with.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #379~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, #GDP251, Whale Done, Stampin Up

I'm not a big fan of DSP, mostly because I struggle using it.
Especially the floral kind.  I try but with little success.  However,
this pack of paper is easy to work with.  Delightfully simple.
They make a perfect background.
The stamp set featured in this card is my new:
Stampin Up:  Whale Done
It's super cute.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenges at:

I spent some time outside this weekend.  Trying to get a picture of the most
beautiful dragonfly.  He was having quite the time dive bombing me, and
my dear Husband was having a good laugh.   I will share a few pictures.
He was like a helicopter coming after me.  😉.

My orchid is blooming again. I am so blessed that it found it's happy window spot.
There will be 10 blooms this time.

Nothing new to report on my health dear friends.  Just the same old
tingling and numbness.  Trying not to get too crabby with it all.
Happy I can still stamp, even though at times I have to wait for
feeling in my fingers.  Thank the LORD it comes back.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Challenge #140 - Sport~ On To Adventure, Spootacular Bash, Stampin Up, Golf Card

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  On to Adventure
Stampin Up:  Spooktacular Bash (for the die)
I can't believe I don't have any sports related stamps.  This was
as close as I could get.  I am shocked because my hubby is
a huge sports fan and our son in a BMX biker.  I should at least
have a few stamps for my guys.
It was rather simple stamping, but being that the images were
so tiny I had to figure out a way to maximize the space without
looking like it was too crowded and take away from the images.
I spent some time this afternoon enjoy this beautiful dragonfly  He never was
still, or landed.  So I tried to get a few pictures of him in flight while he was
dive bombing me.  I'm not so brave with things like this.
But I did get a couple snapshots, I'm sharing one above.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

FMS445 ~ Sweetly Swirled, Stampin Up, Miss you Card

I really love the simplicity of this card.  There was a bit of
fussy cutting after stamping, but I don't mind it, especially if
the hands are cooperating.  I usually have a message from
Adrian Rogers playing in the background, or music.
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:   Sweetly Swirled
I knew I wanted to hurry with my card this morning, because when
my husband gets home we are going to go outside for a bit.
It's such a nice warm day here in WI.  I love the summer.
Hope you're all well and enjoying your Saturday.

CTS #382~ Back On Your Feet, Eclectic Expressions, Stampin up.

I can relate to this little sloth today, moving slow, with a few aches and pains.
However he has the cuteness quality going for him.  😉
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Back on Your Feet
Stampin Up: Eclectic Expressions

For the bandage on Mr. Sloth I added some puffy paint to
make it look a bit more authentic.   I then added a
few little jewel embellishments to finish the card.

Challenge #172~ Sending Sunshine, Stampin Up Framed art

I really enjoy making little inserts for picture frames.   I have a few for
sale in my Etsy shop.  This one did not turn out like I was hoping
but nevertheless I think I'll still add it.  They are perfect for a
bookshelf or desk.  Just nice little happy pieces of art.
I will submit this to the challenge at:
Our theme for the new challenge is

"Anything but a card"

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up: Sending Sunshine.
I added a little trinket in there this time along with the burlap ribbon.
I think it gave it a nice finished look.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #564 ~Light and Peace, Stampin Up, Christmas Card

I did it again.  Oh goodness apparently I can't stop myself.
Here's the story:   I told myself no more buying retired stamp sets.
I'm a stampin up demonstrator, and even though I'm a hobby
stamper I do sell a few stampin up products.  I wish I'd have
more customers.  BUT nevertheless I love the ones I do have.
But here's the thing, with that being said, you'd think I should
stick with the catalog in season and make cards with the current
stamps sets.   Well my last post I did just that, in fact I've been
trying to make a few more cards with the current stamps, but I happen
to come across this stamp set and fell In LOVE with it.  So I
went searching on ebay, and lo and behold I now own it.
I just love the shepheard and sheep.  I think I could
incorporate many different scripture verses with it.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Light and Peace
After stamping the image I stamped another one to cut out a few extra little sheep
to add to the side of the card.  There was a bit of coloring and then I added
Snowfall accents Puff paint to the sheep to give their fleece a nice
fluffy look.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #378~ Back On Your Feet, Stampin Up

Well there it is my fall (Autumn) card I planned on making.
As you can see it took a whole different direction yet again.
I have this festive fall scrap paper and starting cutting strips,
then I found the stamp sets I planned on using and somewhere
between cutting the paper and measuring it.  I changed my
mind and went for what you see above.   That adorable
little turtle.   I think it fits perfectly being I feel like that
little turtle, a bit in my shell (house)  and not quite up to par.
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Back on Your Feet
I think it's adorable.  Back in the day when I was quite the
walker, we use to hit the trails and we'd find all kinds of turtles,
from little ones the size of a 50 cent piece to huge old turtles,
that looked like rocks on the bank of a creek.  So much fun.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
When I first saw the sketch it immediately reminded me of the card
my niece had requested.  She wanted one with a unicorn.

I don't have any stamps with unicorns so I drew one for her.
You can see that Unicorn Here is you want to

I'm also going to try and include a few happy videos of this past
weekend.  HP is such a darling and I wanted to share it with you all.

That is the train yard and traffic you hear in the background noise of
all the videos.   We live next to the train yard, and there is 4 lanes of traffic
out front, so quite noisy here.

Health Note:  I'm doing ok, not taking any of that medication yet, still a bit
anxious over it, and then after reading all that can go wrong with this
disease it freaked me out a bit more.  So like that turtle I'm in my little
shell right now.  Perhaps it's just all so overwhelming. But I do know I'll
have to eventually deal with this.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CAS Game #170 - Maxi White Space + optional twist Flowers~ Varied Vases, Stampin Up

I made this delightful card for the challenge at:
The Stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Varied Vases
I really love the simplicity of this card.
However, with that being said it always surprises me
how many times I have to try to get it just right, with NO
smudges or mistakes.   I think because of the white space
the mistakes are more noticeable.  At least to me on my cards.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

FMS444 Framed For You, Summer Days, Stampin Up, Reading Thank you

I made this card for my dad.  I'm so proud of him, he has recently
discovered the love of reading so we have been discussing books.
I thought this was the perfect image for him.  A book is
like a window to see in a different world, time.
So hence I made this window card.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Framed for You
Stampin Up:  Summer Days
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I took a couple more pictures of the card outside.
See my little Hound through the glass top of the patio
table.   He just wanted to get in the picture too. 💗
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
