CTS #378 His Love, Woven Heirlooms, Stampin Up. Prayer, His Love Never Fails

I do believe this card was inspired by God.   I have been dealing with quite a bit the past 2 weeks.  I won't bore you with all the fine details.  You can read my previous post for that, if you so choose.
Just know that  it boils down to relying on the power of prayer for myself and calling on my prayer warrior friends.  That there will be healing, and no permanent damage done.
The stamp sets featured in this card today are:
Stampin Up:  His Love
Stampin Up:  Woven Heirlooms

I was having trouble holding my scissors and markers but it was easier then the day before so Praise the LORD there is some improvement.  I'm believing God for complete healing.

I always like the acronym for FAITH
Forward, All Issues To Heaven.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

Sketch #374 Seaside View, So Sentimental, Sending Sunshine, Stampin Up,

Hello dear friends.  I want to jump right on here and ask for a prayer request.  I haven't even put it on fb because my anxiety is too high.   Here is the scoop.  Last Friday I was told I have lupus by a specialist, who immediately told me I better get use to medications, and started me off on one.  Well two days into this pill I was experiencing tingling in my hands, then the next day my feet.  Well I called him and he told me to stop the pills, and if things get worse go to the local ER.  Major anxiety now.   Well my face is tingling and I'm just over all weak.   I will be going to see him this Friday.  Friends, I'm asking for urgent prayer requests that there will be absolutely no permanent damage.   I tried to make this card today, but hands are very weak, of all the nerve damage I've experience since my back surgery this tingling and weakness is no good.  I could barely hold my markers to color and scissors to cut.  If you know me I use my card making as an escape from the nerve damage pain, but now it seems this could add more stress, since I can't do it as easily.  My dear husband even helped me with my markers.  My hands are just extra clumsy now.  😢  So I would really appreciate prayers.  Thank you.
Well, enough about me, I made this card using the following stamp sets:
Stampin Up:  So Sentimental
Stampin Up:  Seaside View
Stampin Up: Sending Sunshine
I will submit this card to the fun challenge at:
Well, ya probably all know how my mind works.  So I see  a group of three flowers in the sketch and immediately I think let me try something different.  SIGH.   I never make it easy.   The two lawn chairs where perfect, however I needed a third pop in the middle, so hence the reason I added the sunset behind the mountains in my card.    Too bad the sentiment was not put on straight.  My eyes were a bit blurry towards the end of this card, and hands were just not cooperating.  Nevertheless.  I got one made, so I should be very grateful for that.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Also curious if this font is easy to read?  Or perhaps I should make it bigger?  Just let me know my dear friends.  Thank you.

Challenge #168 Sending Sunshine, Framed For You, Stampin Up.

I wanted to play with my two new stamp sets again, and try to combine them together.   So I was thrilled to find a challenge that encouraged, "anything goes"
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Sending Sunshine
Stamping Up:   Framed For You.
I stamped the frame and then fussy cut it out and also the center.  I then glued down a window sheet to make it appear like a piece of glass representing a real frame.   For the sunset scene, it was rather simple stamping.   After I finished it up I used a  bit of yellow and sponged all over the different colors in the sky to blend them together.   I fussy cut out the little flower and leaves for the frame corner.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:
Our theme for the new challenge is

"Anything Goes"

Well, update on my latest little medical adventure.  The new medication now has my toes and finger tips all tingly and muscles weak, so I will be calling the Doctor's office again tomorrow.  Oh the joys of trying to figure things out.  Just very thankful to be able to still try and stamp and make cards for my blog and etsy.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CTS #377 His Love, Framed For You, Stampin Up

Oh I love the frame in this stamp set.  So many possibilities, I can't wait to use it with many other sets, and make lovely little framed scenes.
I had a lot of fun making this card, I just had a difficult time sticking to the sketch. 😉 I wanted to fill in the frame with all kinds of things.  But I restrained myself. and just added the flowers to the top.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Challenge 463 Sending Sunshine, Stampin Up

Oh the excitement, my new stamp set came.   In fact it actually came to my neighbor's house.  I'm so grateful she walked it over and it didn't get lost in the system.
It will take some practice with this particular set, but here is my first card using it.   I will have to improve on a few techniques, but overall not to shabby.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set used in this card today is from
Stampin Up:   Sending Sunshine

I added a bit of texture to this card by using an embossing folder for the background and piece of ribbon to the top.    I applied clear wink of stella to the water to give it some sparkle.

PP496 So Sentimental, Sharing Sweet thoughts, Stampin Up, Thank you Card

I made this card today for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  So Sentimental
Stampin Up:  Sharing Sweet thoughts
I die cut the top layer and stamped the sentiment with whisper white craft ink on the black card stock.  I then stamped and colored the other images.
This little jar  of insects, reminded me of when I was young trying to catch lightening bugs or perhaps known as fireflies.   I don't see many anymore.  I always wonder what happens to such things.   Warm summer nights, crickets, a star filled sky and lightening bugs galore.
Not much has changed for me.  I'm 49 and was taking pictures of a butterfly to which my husband said, "baby that's a moth."  and my reply, "it's an albino butterfly."   He just laughs at me, and lets me enjoy the little things.   I'm always amazed at God's creations.

Challenge 462 First Frost, Very Versailles, Stampin Up, Engagement & Wedding Innies, Sweet 'n Sassy Wedding Card

I want to start off by thanking the people who have left comments on my Etsy page on my blog here.  That was so sweet.  I truly appreciate reading each one.
I made this card for my cousin's son, They were married last Thursday, at a park in Texas.
I'm happy with how the card turned out, because I've been having trouble with my creativity.  Ever since the kidney stones, which I'm still dealing with and now toss in an auto-immune disease.  I'm just not feeling well lately.   So when I made this card it was a relief that I can still stamp.
I wonder if anyone else ever feels like that?   I fear I will lose the ability to create cards, when I haven't stamped for a few days.
The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up:  First Frost
Stampin Up:  Very Versailles
Sweet 'n Sassy:  Engagement & Wedding Innies
I'm also still trying to figure out why on the new blogger some of my pictures get big when you click on them and some don't.  If you have any idea how to fix this please let me know.  I would prefer each picture to enlarge when you click on it so you can view the card better.
I will submit my card to the challenge at:
I hope you can see the sketch in my card.  I did add a few layers, because I wanted to make it extra special being it is a wedding card.  The heart brad was the perfect little finishing touch.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #559~ Rise & Shine, Layering Love, Stampin Up

Well, I'm trying to press on and keep stamping, I have not ever struggled this much with creativity before.  It's always been my go to with the pain, for a bit of an escape, well this time it's not quite working out so well.  But I'm going to keep on trying.
The card I made today is for the challenge at:

Sketch #373 Varied Vases Stampin Up. Happy Birthday

I made this card today for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in today's card is:
Stampin Up:  Varied Vases

I think the card got a bit busy, at least for me.  Perhaps I will have to try again with this sketch, and tame it down.  I just couldn't focus again today, the amount of stress in my home right now is so thick I think you could cut it with a knife. Oh goodness between my health issues, and having adult children living at home again.  Perhaps it's the LORD'S way of saying I need more time in prayer.  😉

Well folks you probably noticed my pictures are not lined on the left side like usual.   That would be because I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing with the new blogger format and my little phone.   Not sure if I mentioned that before, but I finally saved some money and bought myself an iphone 6s from walmart for $100.00.   As my daughter says it's my starter phone.   So trying to figure out how to take pictures and post them directly from that is part of my problem too.  I can see where kids get to much screen time on those little devices.  Yikes.  I'm hooked on my little phone.  With my reading glasses on, I'm playing words with friends, and some other wordscape game.  I also love looking up words in the dictionary when I'm doing my Bible study.  I can do instagram now, much more easier then the laptop, and I have a snapchat.  Ooh I'm making my way into the technology world.  haha.

Again thank you ever so much for stopping by for a visit.

CTS #376 Positive Thoughts, Stampin Up. Friendship Card

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card
today is:
Stampin Up:  Positive Thoughts

I used soft pinks and gray for the card.  I started off thinking I would go floral with it, but then changed my mind after I used the embossing folder.  I sponged over it with gray and it just seemed to have the appearance of a dream catcher so hence the reason I added the feather with a dimensional.  I think it turned out nice.

RRCB136 We Must Celebrate, Barnyard Babies, In the Trees, Loads Of Love and Accessories, Loads of Fun, Stampin Up. Summer Thank you

Hello, I made this card today for my dad.  He let us use his truck and trailer to bring my son and his girlfriend home.  It was so generous of him, because the kids had a lot of stuff and it wouldn't all fit in our truck.   We made one trip, but then dad said take the big truck and huge trailer to get it all done so that's what we did.  I tried to make it a summery looking card with the festive lights in the trees and the flowers blooming.  Notice I even added a little dog like our HP in the box of the  truck  However, we wouldn't really let our dog ride like that.
It's a bit busy with everything going on, even the little squirrel making his way to the other tree across the stringed lights.  But I think Dad will like it.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  We Must Celebrate 2018
Stampin Up:  Barnyard Babies 2015
Stampin Up:  In The Trees 2018
Stampin Up:  Loads of Love and Accessories 2004 & 2005
Stampin Up:  Loads of Fun.  2009?  this one I'm not sure of the year.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:

I made this delightful card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card today are:

Stampin Up:  New Wonders
Stampin Up:  Power of Hope
Stampin Up:  Summer Days

Nothing like reading a good book under a shade tree.   Listening to the birds sing and the breeze blow.    Talking about reading, I just finished another wonderful book.  I know I say this a lot.  However, this time after the 468 pages I stopped for a day to catch my breath and think about the story and then re-read it.  Oh it's life changing.  Absolutely magnificent.  I highly recommend:  Redeeming Love by  Francine Rivers

Sketch #372 Beautiful Ride, Love Bug, Stampin UP

I'm still trying to get use to this new blogger.  So things might look a little different until I figure it out.
However, I'm most excited to say thank you to a new blog follower.  That made my day to see I now have 101.. reminds me of the 101 Dalmatians Disney movie.  Ooh and I love it.
Today I made this card for the challenge at:
Oh My goodness I really blew this sketch.   First I had to turn it because I didn't measure my little love bug, and he didn't fit on the card.  And just now as I'm writing my blog, I realize that the sketch intended to be in in the upper left hand corner of the card.  Oh boy.  You can see my focus is all wacky.

Well any ways the stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up: Beautiful Ride
I used the wax paper technique to create the colors on the love bug.  To give it a real retro look.

I'm also including a video (hopefully) of the little storage box I made for my 6x6 DSP.  I am very happy with how it turned out.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
