#TGIFC301 ~ Buffalo Check, Dragonfly Garden, Stampin Up

Today was a nice day.  I finally was able
to sleep pretty well last night, and even
though the morning was difficult, which
it usually is.  I had a lovely day with hubby.
I even managed to make us dinner and supper.
That's a grand accomplishment.  I usually am only
good for one meal preparation a day.
I sound like I'm complaining, but please know I'm
just sharing, because truly it was good day.
I even got to play with my new stamp set.
I love it.  It worked perfectly with the plaid.
So I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Buffalo Check
Stampin Up:  Dragonfly Garden
This card was a delight to make.  I think dragonflies
are magnificently beautiful. I looked up what they
symbolize and there are a lot of different meanings,
but I chose this one:
The dragonfly symbolizes wisdom,
change, transformation, light and
adaptability in life. It shows up in people's lives
to remind them that they need to bring
a lightness and joy to their life.

After stamping the buffalo check, I decided to use
it on the side, and finish it off with a ribbon.  I then
stamped the flowers and fussy cut them out.  The
dragon fly was stamped and  for the wings I sponged
two colors on the stamp before stamping on the cardstock.
Turned out pretty cute.

FUSION - Flowers~ Hydrangea Haven, Swirly Frames, Bokeh Dots, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
It took a few times to get this just the way I
wanted it.   Trial and error, that apparently
is my stamping technique.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Hydrangea Haven
Stampin Up:  Swirly Frames
Stampin Up:  Bokeh Dots
I added a bazillion little dazzling diamonds
to the hydrangea.  Well, a bazillion  is quite
the exaggeration, but there are a lot.
I really like the colors of this card.

SSC249 WARM HEARTS~ Hey Girlfriend, Stampin up

I made this delightful card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Hey Girlfriend
I don't know if it's my eyes going wonky, but
I had such a hard time with the colors, I had to
ask my husband.  I kept thinking the bottom
color was brown, but he assured me it was like
a deep cranberry, so hence the dark cardstock
behind the vanilla, then I chose the red, gold,
and gray to color in the young lady.
I think this new set is adorable.   I  drew in
the heart and then added some dimensionals  to the
little lady to pop her up a bit.
Pretty cute.
I'm also including a picture of my rubber tree,
we have a new leaf on board.  Yay.   Sad to say
that my prayer plant is not doing as well, if you
have any tips or suggestions please let me know.

FMS470~ A Touch Of Ink, Stampin up, Thinking of You

I made this card to enter in the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  A Touch of Ink
I love the absolute simplicity of this card.
To create the illusion of another dimension.  I
used my ruler to draw in the black line.  I'm
not to swift with a ruler, but we got the job done.
I'm so excited my husband has a day off of work
tomorrow.  YAY.   My life consists of my dog,
my books, Bible study and stamping, so to
have him home for the day will be a delight.
I thought I'd share a picture of my buddy.
He loves his toys.

Sketch #405~ So Sentimental, Gorgeous, Posies, Stampin up, Happy Anniversary

Such a delightful sketch to play along with, and just
in the nick of time.  Because I wanted to make a
lovely card for my Daughter and Son-in-law's
Anniversary tomorrow.
It will be 3 years that they are married now.  What
a pleasure and blessing it is to watch them
grow together more in love and dependence
on each other.
Their winter wedding was magical.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  So Sentimental
Stampin Up:  Gorgeous Posies
The red paper is actually the wrapping paper
my daughter wrapped my Christmas gift in.
I loved it so much I knew I could find another
use for it.

PP525~ Parisian Beauty, Mediterranean Moments, Stampin Up

Well, my goodness.  This card took on a mind
of it's own, this is no way even close
to the idea I had in my mind.  But I tossed
what I thought aside and just went where
the creativity took me.
I had envisioned a lovely anniversary card
for my daughter and son-in-law.
But the next thing you know I was cutting
and pasting and stamping a scene.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Parisian Beauty
Stampin Up:  Mediterranean Moments
I turned it into a window card.   I even
impressed myself with how well it turned out.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I think it is so cool that the inside is
actually the view on the front of the card.
This was a fun sketch to work with, and being
I turned the front into a window card,
I kept the challenge sketch intact.

FMS469 Rise & Shine, Label me Bold, Stampin up, Encouragement Card

Well, apparently I've stirred up quite an upset
on an instagram post.   I probably should have
kept my mouth quiet, but I did not, and the
amount of hateful comments, particular from
one person, wowza.  I was not prepared for it,
however, I'm sticking to my guns, and won't back down.
This person even trolled on over to my instagram
and bashed me there to tell me how God is ashamed of me.
Some people are just very hurtful.  Any ways, just
going to move on, and let it go.  Not going to waste
time thinking over such nonsense.  I have cards to
make.  And this one here I will submit to the challenge
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Rise & Shine
Stampin Up:  Label Me Bold
I love the little speckled background, reminds me
of confetti.
I had to carry it on to the inside of the card as well.
I started off thinking this was going to be a Valentine
card, and somehow it turned into an encouragement
card instead.    Nevertheless we can all use a little
pick me up note, perhaps because I was feeling a bit
beat down on instagram, encouragement was on my mind.
I added some wink of stella to the steam, and used
a bit too heavy of a hand while applying, but that
is ok, it will dry nicely, and give a grand shimmer.
Oh, also if you'd like to join the fun you can follow me on
instagram too.  pjs.projects
It really is fun.  I don't get many likes but I keep trying.
Some cards get hundreds and hundreds, it's so impressive.
I'm not everyone's "cup of tea"  in the card department.  haha

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Week 382: UNITE ~ Dove of Hope, Stampin Up

I made this card today for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Dove of Hope
I'm so happy I purchased this set, it was a
last minute decision, but it is one of my
favorites now.  I Love it.
For some reason the cue card word just
spoke peace to my heart, to unite in peace.
In fact while making this card I had Christmas
music playing again.  That is always peaceful.
I love the simplicity of this card.  I added a bit
of clear wink of stella to the dove for a bit of sparkle.
I'm happy to say I received and Etsy order 2 days ago,
and just today I was blessed with a stampin up order.
Oh Happy Day.   That is so exciting.  THANK You.
to my sweet customers.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
