PP560~clever cat, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up: Clever Cat
I had to rearrange my stamped images
a few times to get them to all fit on the
little squares and look nice.
Oh my gosh this cat in the box reminds
me of myself trying to squeeze in to a pair
of jeans.  Hence the reason I love shorts.
This polka dot ribbon is almost gone.  I
found that at the Michael's craft store years
ago, and I just love it.

September Stash Challenge~ Merry Moose, Stampin Up

What a lovely idea for a challenge.  Washi tape.
I had so much fun going through my little box
of tapes.  I didn't realize how many Halloween
washi tapes I had.  Looks like I will be making a few cards.
I had a few Christmas too.  So that worked out perfectly
for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Merry Moose
Gosh we are to use a minimum of 2 different washi tapes.
Well folks, I just couldn't stop myself.  I added four to
my card today.  It was like having just one cinnamon roll,
that's not happening either.   By the way I included
a picture of the rolls I made this evening for Hubby.
I had to put the "hohoho" washi tape and the
inside "Merry Christmas" tape on the vanilla card stock.
and then glue it down, because the DSP would
have shown through it otherwise.
I Love this set.  I'm always a fan of moose/outdoor
themed stamps.
Now for the cinnamon rolls.  I put them on my instagram
story with a funny song, I never heard before.  It
just cracked me up.  Hope you can pop over and
take a listen to it.

Sketch #440~Have a Hoot, Stampin Up

I made this Halloween card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Have a Hoot
I was thinking of my dear friend, and faithful
stampin up customer.  When I made this card.
She Loves owls.
I'm so happy I used vanilla card stock.  That way when
I colored in the owls eyes with my white pen,
they really "looked" sharp.
This little spider reminds me of the children's book
Charlotte's Web.  Gosh I remember reading to my
kiddos, it was one of our favorite pass times.
Please excuse my messy desk area.  When one
is card making this one doesn't have time to clean. haha

I must turn the peace on earth book the other way,
but my question is which background do you like
better?  The lighter one (top) or the green (bottom)
Also, do you think it would look better if all the books
were in one color?
I wanted to share some happy news.  The past two days
I received 2 cards in the mail, completely by surprise.
It was so nice and the cards were GORGEOUS.
Then out of the blue I received and etsy sale, and
my darling stampin up customer ordered too.  This
gal is feeling blessed beyond words.
THANK  YOU friends.

FMS504~papertrey, Storybook Christmas

Today did not go as planned.  SIGH.
Nothing was going right, you might say everything
was going left.  UGH.
The happy news though is I received an unexpected
homemade card in the mail and it is gorgeous.
Thank you to the lovely sender for thinking of me.

I made this smaller slimline card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Papertrey ink:  Storybook Christmas
The card size is 6¾ x 6¼
It is the perfect "little" slimline.  It's just a matter
of fitting all the elements on the card then.
I'm also including a little Macrame wreath I made
for a Christmas ornament.  I'm taking a poll on my
instagram story whether or not to add little
jingle bells or just keep it plain.  Hop on over
there to let me know.  Thank you.

Sketch #439~Frosted Gingerbread, Peaceful Boughs, Stampin up

Hello Friends,  Here we are double spacing again.

Isn't it grand I don't know how to fix this. haha.

I'm going to pretend it doesn't bother me.

If anyone has helpful tips, I'll take them please.

I made this card for the challenge at:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Frosted Gingerbread
Stampin Up:  Peaceful Boughs
and one pine branch die.

This one was a tough challenge for me.
I'm just not good at angles, triangles,
or diamonds.  Tons of mistakes, and
trying to get it all to line up was another
challenge.  But I was determined to make it work.
Then I realized the ornament was a lot
bigger then I had thought, so three of those
would not look so grand.
Thank goodness for
pinecones to save the day.  (wink)
I took a picture of my hen and chick.  I just think
these are fabulous plants, and honestly astonished at
how well it's doing.  (btw-did you notice no more double
spacing?  it corrected itself again)  anyways I think this
plant is going to have flowers.  I'll keep ya posted.
Ya see we brought it in the house last year for the winter.
and then placed it outside again this spring/summer.
I'm so happy it survived.  and is doing so well.
Hubby had to pick our pumpkins, the
mice have been in the garden eating
them, those little rascals.  But I'm
pleased with our little harvest.
The squirrels put a
black walnut right on top,  they didn't even try
to bury it in there.  They plant those
nuts everywhere.  haha. So funny.

RRCB167~Harvest Hellos, Stampin Up

It has been a long time since I played with
this lovely challenge.
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Harvest Hellos (2019)
Not one of the oldest stamp sets
in my collection, but so much fun.
Plus I haven't used it in a while,
and tis the season for fall/autumn cards.
I made the card a small slimline.  It just
looked like a slimline card to me on the sketch.
Then after I started stamping I realized
I was quickly running out of room.  So
I had to narrow down that paper quite a
bit to get it to all fit properly.

HSSCC372~To a wild rose, You've Got this, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  You've Got this
Stampin Up:  To a wild rose
I think the colors for this challenge are quite
unique and gave the card a nice Autumn vibe.
I would have not ever thought to do the
leaves in cinnamon cider.  But I needed to use
that color too.  It turned out lovely.
I was struggling with placement of those leaves.
and then finally I thought, just divide them.
It worked much better for me on this card.
I need to get scooting, I want to make some
malted milk ball, rice krispie treats for the family.
Tomorrow our son turns 28.
Perhaps I'll post pictures of the treats, with the recipe.
If anyone is interested.

FMS503~Season of Fun, Swirly Frames, For all All things, Stampin Up

Aww. Nothing says fall like playing in the leaves.
Puppies have to do this too.
I know it's not officially Autumn, but the leaves
are turning and it just makes me think it's in the air.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Season of Fun
Stampin Up:  Swirly Frames
Stampin Up:  For all Things
I love how the frames "catch" each picture.
I wanted to share one more picture of
my first ever macrame wall/shelf.
I made this for my son.  He turns 28 on Sunday.
Have you ever done any macrame projects?
