CELEBRATE TODAY

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Today, I made a card with an interesting little crease/fold on the left hand side.  I scored in a little bit from the left, and then tied the ribbon on and glued it shut, I think it turned out nice.  I came across a similar idea with the layout of the flowers on pinterest but of course I just made it my own.  Took a few things I liked about the card and then changed up the rest.  I used my wink of stella pen for the middle of each flower to give it a sparkle glimmer, and added brads on the bottom for a finishing touch.

I can't believe how well this picture turned out, I even captured the little fella holding a seed.  Amazing.  Such a beautiful bird.

This picture it looks like chippy is fluffing his tale a bit, or at least posing for the picture.

This picture on the left has a few of our little visitors.. I was hoping to get a few more squirrels in the picture, but my darling HP decided he should bark so they all scattered.

SCS~HOPE

Welocome~Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Today is SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) here at Pj's Projects.  My gosh it amazes me how time flies, it seems like SCS rolls around faster each week, even though it's the same number of days.  Crazy how that works out.
So today I used a lovely verse that reminds us to stay filled with hope.  It was a rather simple card, with a lovely polka dot ribbon, that just makes everything pop with color, my little hummingbird was looking a bit too pink, so I blended in a nice aqua color.  I add 3 little silver brads to the bottom to tie it all together.  Hope you like it.
I also wanted to share an acronym for the word hope.
I've often thought about it, since everything that has happened to my legs/back.  H.O.P.E.~Hold On Pain Ends.  I just think that is lovely.
We have baby squirrels, and here are a few pictures of the cute little ones.

I would love to send you a card.  I'm not sure how to work the contact me or email me here on my blog yet, but if you go to my facebook page: Pj's Projects and just message me your address, I will send a card out to you.
Thank you.

What does a Farm, Fox, and Car have in common.. they share this blog post. ☺

Welcome ~Thank you for stopping by my blog.

I've been working on a few cards, but just didn't get a chance to post them here on my blog.  So I chose to post all 3 for the day.
It has been so nice outside I've been able to sit out and enjoy the sun, and watch the crazy little critters in the yard.  We have baby squirrels now and they are just the funniest little ones to watch.  Scrambling all over the tree, up and down to their nest.

Would you please take the time to look around my blog and let me know what your favorite card is.  I would like to enter a contest.  I can submit 3 cards of what I think is the best of my abilities, and I would sure appreciate your help.  Please let me know in the comment section below.  Thank you ☺
Also if you have any questions about my cards or such please also add that in the comments section as well.

SCS & HSSSK238

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by my blog
Today is: SCS (scripture card Sunday)on my blog,  however, I didn't use a scripture verse but I thought the sentiment worked lovely in keeping with my theme.
I also want to enter my card in the challenge at:
They are having a sketch challenge.  My card consisted of using an embossing folder to get the Polaroid picture look.  I then stamped a sun beam picture in the background and the sentiment directly over top of it.  I added a bit of "nail glitter" on the inside to make it a shaker card, and some sequins scattered about for some bling.  I used gold twine behind the die cut stars, and used a tiny little gold star brad upon the sequin in the star middle.  I'm happy with how the card turned out.  I hope you like it too.

Here is one more picture with the flash turned off. I can never decide what picture to post.

For my blog followers I always post a picture of the side yard activity or in this case apparently my house.. my goodness, we have had a total of 6 bumble bees in the house.  I have no idea where they are getting in, and I'm not appreciating their wanting to be indoors.  Goodness gracious.. any suggestions would be lovely.

PPA301

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Today I have another post for you so I could enter this card in the color challenge at: Pals Paper Arts.  I only had the crushed curry, and Bermuda bay inks..so I had to improvise as usual.  I used the stampin up set cupcake party.  That has a matching punch.   I used an embossing folder for the background and then a die to cut the star and the sentiment.  I swirled a bit of sparkly silver twine behind it and place a few silver tiny star brads randomly, I also used my one and only (so far) wink of stella gold pen to light the candle.

For my blog followers I usually post a few pictures of my side yard visitors.. and today we have Chippy.  These little rascals can be a tad annoying with their chirping noise, even over the trains and traffic in my industrial park neighborhood they make themselves heard.

CHECK OUT THESE FOUR CARDS ☺

Welcome~Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Today I have made a wide variety of cards.  My little stamping desk area is a mess.. paper everywhere.

I will have to work to clean that up so Hubby can get to the computer/we share the work space, he's a sweetheart for putting up with all my "stamp stuff"  and really it's not a lot.. but out on the porch it looks a little crammed.. it's a small space(at least that's my excuse) haha.  The cards were fun to make.. The top left hand corner is a re-make of something I came across while browsing on Pinterest.. and I thought it was fabulous.. of course mine didn't turn out as lovely as the one shown, but I gave it my best try.  The others all came together quickly.  I might be posting again today because I made one more card that I want to enter in a color challenge.
Hubby and I made caramel corn together the other day, and well it was a big batch.  ( we have to learn how to cook smaller since the kids all moved out)  any ways it was getting chewy and old so we tossed it to our friendly side yard visitors and the birdies just loved it. They started flying off with it and putting it in the trees.. They just crack me up.

#GDP036

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog.
The above card I made for the challenge at Global Design Project.  We are to case the designer.  I chose to use the flowers and placement of the sentiment too.  My goodness I am not good at this water coloring with the pencils/and aqua pen.  The amount of paper layered underneath this card is covering up multiple mistakes.  Hence the reason the added ribbon.   I had a great vision, that went a bit sour.  But I figured all that work, I was going to at least put it in the challenge.  I have one gold wink of stella pen, and I love how it gives a bit of sparkle to the yellow flowers and the sentiment. I think I might need to get another color, or at least add that to my wish list.

I also had to share my other card, because I told my blog followers yesterday I was going to try ice cream or cupcakes in the squares on this unique folded card.  Yesterday I used fruit. But for today as you can see I chose the ice cream.  I love the sprinkles and faces on the scoops.  I wonder if I should have put a smiley face on the inside cone with the cherry?  What do you think?

Here is a picture of my side yard visitor.

As you can imagine, my dog locks his gaze right into these furry little visitors.. but that's all the happens. He just wants to play with them.  ☺

SUMMER STAMPING

Welcome, and thank you so much for stopping by my blog.
I chose to make a summer card today, with a bit of a different look.
So, I folded back the front layer of the card to create a half card in the front, while revealing the stamped summer image with cherries on the inside.  I think it turned out pretty good.  I might try this with the icecream cones from stampin up.  I can see the different toppings in the squares, and the cone on the inside.. well just a thought.. perhaps even cupcakes .. gosh there are many possibilities.

I was able to get two pictures of my feathered friend visiting the yard.

TEACHER APPRECIATION

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog.

Well I had a very interesting weekend.  Without going into to much detail.  I ended up Saturday afternoon in the urgent care for what I was sure was a heart attack.  Apparently I have some underlying anxiety that needs to be dealt with.. good grief I had no idea all the symptoms were so similar.  I am so thankful to God that my little old heart is ok♥  Talk about anxiety, all the tests they did drove me right to panic mode quickly.  I'm praying I can get this all under control.  I had been dealing with it since this past Wednesday, hence the reason my blog has been quiet again.  Hopefully it will all get better and I'll keep on stamping through it
So today's card I made for my sister who is a preschool teacher.  I thought what a great way to end a difficult year with a thank you note.  those cute little kids on the bottom are all buttons.. I just glued them on after I cut the back off a bit.  I think it turned out super cute.  Of course I thought after the fact if I would have left the buttons as buttons she could have recycled them by sewing them on a sweater or something.. well hopefully next time I'll remember in advance.

Sorry there are no pictures of the side yard.  Just didn't get a chance with everything going on.  I'll share another picture of my dog though.

Stop back again soon.

BOX CARD

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog.

I tried my hand at the box card, it folds flat for mailing and then when you pull the sides open it turns into a little box.. for small little treasures to send.  I think it's so clever and cute.  Below is a picture of it opened.

The next card below here is the same flower from the stampin up set but I chose to use a different leaf bottom for it.  I think it turned out simple and sweet. I was going to embellish it but thought less is more in this case.

And since I messed up buying envelopes the other day.  None fit my usually size note cards, I decided to make a few. So I made 5.  They turned out really nice, and are quite easy to make too ☺

The lilacs are blooming.  It's so pretty, spring is officially here now.  haha
Even though I hear frost warnings and snow for the Northern part of the state.

THREE CARDS FOR TODAY

Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog.

Today I made a smorgasbord of cards.  I tried a few techniques I haven't done in awhile, and I found out I need much more practice.  But Not complaining.

I did a bit of heat embossing for my last card.  I haven't done this in awhile because I usually make a super big mess and it never turns out well.  I think I might have to invest (someday) in a new heat gun and an embossing buddy. That might help.

Here are a few pictures from the side yard.  This little birdie was so happy singing for us ♪

This fine little bubble bee was resting on my chair outside.  I enjoy watching these little guys bubble around.
