FMS394~ Daisy Lane, Stampin Up

Ohhh.. the font of this sentiment just seems to make me "SMILE"  it's just so happy looking.  So I wanted to make a cute card that reflected just that.
I will submit it to the challenge at:
This sketch has so many possibilities.  I love it.  However, I went with clean and simple.  I also flipped the sketch to make it work well with my flower.  I think it's fantastic how  the polka dot tulle ribbon really accents the petals on the daisy.

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin up:  Daisy Lane

I'm also including a picture of these lovely little stickers.  I won them awhile ago, and they are my absolute FAVORITE little embellishments, they lay flat and adhere nicely, it's almost like they are two -toned, with a gold rim and then a little sparkle silver inside.  I am hoping that by posting it on my blog frequently someone will be able to tell me what they are, and where to purchase them.

PP447~Very Versailles, Stampin Up

I can't believe I had time to squeeze a card in today.  I did a few house chores, and then spent some time outside enjoying the lovely heat, that is before the rains set in.  I think I needed to blow off some steam,  because I'm a bit nervous about my eye doctor appointment tomorrow.
Usually stamping takes my mind off my troubles, but I was just stir crazy today, so fresh air was the trick.

However, I just can't stay away from my stamping desk and when I came across this lovely sketch at:
I knew I wanted to play along.

The stamp set featured in today's card is:
Stampin Up:  Very Versailles

Sketch #322~ Taylored Expressions, Of Thee I Sing, Liberty Bell, Freedom

Well, after quite an exhausting time trying to make camping cards for my daughter, I finally moved on and found a sketch to play with.   Perhaps before I get to this card I should clarify, that I LOVE making cards, and especially when my kids request them, however, I set my stakes high when I tried to make a "Bob Ross" painting card.   You can see the camping cards here.  Let's just say, I tried.   So it was quite nice to try something else today.  Hence that brings me to this card I made for the challenge at:

The stamp sets Featured in this card are:
Taylored Expressions: Of Thee I Sing
and a USA Travel set that I purchased years ago, it has no name.
I can't believe I don't have any flag stamps, I usually try to just make stars and stripes out of what I have on hand, but no actually flag.  I will have to look into a grand 4th of July set, if such a thing really exists.  Since I have no flag I decided to use the Liberty Bell, since it's a symbol of our independence.  I really like the music background for this sketch, and more so because yesterday I found out I won a summer contest in our area which means I won a ukulele. 🎸  Oh boy, one more thing to play with.

I'm also including a picture of these lovely little stickers.  I received  awhile ago, and they are my absolute FAVORITE little embellishments, they lay flat and adhere nicely, it's almost like they are two -toned, with a gold rim and then a little sparkle silver inside.  I am hoping that by posting it on my blog frequently someone will be able to tell me what they are, and where to purchase them.

HSSSC#317 Camping, Water front, Wonderland, Thoughtful Branches, Stampin up, Camping

My daughter and son-in-law just came back from Ocras Island on a camping trip and she asked me to make her a few camping cards.   Well of course I said sure, however I don't really have many stamps regarding camping, so I tried to come up with some ideas, even so much so I gave a shot at trying to be like Bob Ross by stamping (painting) with the mountain scene.  As you can see below with all my extra little cards I made for her.

However, the top card I will be submitting to the challenge at:
I was going for a camo look with this outdoor card.  I like the sleeping bag, and hiking boots, just implies, trail blazers.

Sketch #321~Love You To Pieces. Stampin Up

I made this little note card for my darling husband.  He works two jobs to take care of us, and does so many things around the house to help me out, from chores I can't do anymore, to just encouraging me daily.  I'm blessed to have such a supportive person in my life.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

You might have noticed I strayed a bit from the sketch, as far as not keeping it an A2 size card.   I just wanted a little note for hubby, so the card is a 4x4 size, in fact I even had to make the envelope to fit it.   Apparently my envelope punch board didn't give me the right scoring measurements the first time, but I figured it out.   Phew.  😉  I then decorated the envelope too.

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Love You to Pieces.

I really love the background puzzle.  I used the die that comes with it.   In fact I used a tape runner on the back of the pieces while they were still in the die, and then placed them on the black card stock and popped them down, and they stuck perfectly in place.

I used two different ribbons on this card.  I really like how it sparkles.   I had to tell myself "no"  to adding more little embellishments to the card.   I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.  Sometimes it's nice to make a different size card then what I usually make.

FMS392~Dragonfly Dreams, Stampin Up

I made this happy card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up: Dragonfly Dreams

I used some lovely DSP that adds a bit of shine to the dragonfly, hence the double pictures of the front of the card.   I also decided to create my own background for part of the sketch, just to keep it a more simple card, and not so many layers.
