TMS #649~ Blessing of Home, Color & Contour, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Blessing of Home,
Color &  Contour
I really love the embossed background,
it just gives the card a bit something extra.
That is how I feel about today.  Beautiful,
except the sun is deceiving because it
is quite cold here.  Woke up to 16 degrees.
Welcome Spring weather.  sigh
I have Gone with the Wind playing in
the background, as I made this card.  My
husband was happy to go to work.  Haha
Imagine that.
Thank you for your continued prayers and
encouragement as I recover from covid.

#FMS528~Counting Sheep, On the Horizon, Stampin up

I made this card for the challenge at:
Stampin Up:  Counting Sheep
On the Horizon
I decided the little sheep was going to
make a spring for it.  "Spring"
is in the air.
So over the fence he did jump, and
then a little happy dance on the inside
for a victory celebration.  haha.
At least that is how my mind works when
I made a card with cute characters.
I made the  card below for my Instagram page and
Forgot to share it.  So here it is.
The stamp sets featured in this card:

Sketch #465~Calming Camellia, Every Chapter, Stampin Up

I had in my mind that I wanted to use
a certain stamp set, however,  it was too big for the
sketch design, but that didn't stop me.
I stamped the image and then cut off the piece I
didn't intend to use.  So instead of a stack of books
it's only one now.   I used tape on the stamp to
mask it so the print didn't show on the binding.
Of course I had to make the glasses red.
 I love the color red/burgundy.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Calming Camellia & Every Chapter
Square cards are just fun, even though they cost
a bit more in postage.  But it's worth it.
Thought I'd share a little bit of life here lately.
This pond is around the corner from us, perhaps a 1/2
mile or so.   This is spring in WI.

And look at my instagram page, Most exciting to
reach 200 followers, Most likely it won't stay that
way for long, because people stop following, but
I'm going to celebrate it anyways.
If your husband has a beard I recommend this balm.
I just ordered it for my hubby, and he's only used it
once, so not sure how good it is at taming the mane.
But I will say it smells lovely.  I'm always a fan of
sandalwood.
Well on the hair note.  I've been losing my
hair rapidly the past couple weeks.
I looked up covid  issues for long
haulers ( which apparently I've been classified as one)
and yup hair loss.  Oh dear friends. this is
just been a nightmare.  10 weeks today.
Still struggling with my eyes, the nose, brain fog,
and now rapid hair loss.  Sometimes I just want to
cry, but that's not good for my eyes.  UGH.
But on a happy  note I found this fun shampoo
with Hubby last week when we went to the store.
It was such a cute bottle I thought I must give it
a try.   Robb (husband) held it so I could take
a picture of the "no drink" symbol.  That cracked me
up.  I mean I usually do look for drinks down the shampoo
isle at Walmart.  too funny.
If any of you have ideas on a good shampoo or supplement
that helps with hair, please let me know.  Thank you.
Then I was playing with the filters on my phone,
since I don't wear makeup, I decided to let my
phone do the work.  I'm like a child with a new
toy, always something to learn and play with on
these phones.  Now if I could just look like that
in real life.  haha
Thought I'd end with HP.  This little fella
loves to sleep close to the radiator heater.
Keeps him toasty.

Thank you for your continued prayers and
encouragement as I recover from covid.

PP583 ~MEant to be, sunshine sayings, flowing flowers, blessing of home, stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:
Meant to Be
Sunshine Sayings
Flowing Flowers
Blessing of Home
I think this card is rather simple.  I argued with
myself as to whether or not it would fit the
challenge.   As you can see I talked myself into
entering it. haha
It has a few layers, but the over all stamping
is rather simple indeed.
I think it would be easy to mass produce these,
being you had all the paper cut.  The only
stamping is the flowers, and the sentiment on
the inside.
The "hope" sentiment is die cut, with black
and white.  To give it a little pop and shadow.
The heart is die cut to let more white space show
through all that pink.  Wish I had better
technique at blending my inks when coloring.
Thought I'd share a picture of my crazy dog.
HP loves to lay on his back, all stretched out.
He has some attitude, which we decided
to embrace as charming.
I came across this hat the other day
On our (hubby and I) visit to Walmart.
I don't get out much so when I do, I try
to make the most of it.  I was strolling
down the Easter isle and found this delightful
hat. Not much for the Easter bonnet
( which made me think of the song)
No worries it's still at the store, but I
thought it was so festive and
would have looked cute on the dog.

Thank you for your continued prayers and
encouragement as I recover from covid.

Sketch #464~Paradise palms, on the horizon ocean front, Stampin Up

I was so excited to play with my new stamp
sets.  Now you all know I've been struggling
with my eye sight because of covid.
But that didn't stop me today.  I put the drops in
and used a warm compress.  Sometimes you
just have to do things that bring you joy.
That's what stamping has always done for me.
So thankful to have this hobby.
Especially being home all day, and today's
weather was not enjoyable.  So dreaming
of a nice beach somewhere.
I think the little fence is so inviting, just take off
your flip flops and walk on the sandy shores under
the sun, and take a rest under the palm trees.
Did you notice the rock I stamped and fussy cut out?
It's behind the fence.   I love the birdies in the air too.
Now folks you know me, always one for making
mistakes and admitting them.
Well here it is🡻
I decorated an envelope.  I was so proud
of myself.  You know the saying, Pride comes
before a fall.  well ain't that the truth.
You see my card is a square 5x5 and I decorated
the standard A2 envelope.  UGH.
Well I'll use it for another card, and make the envelope
to fit the square card.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
Stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Paradise Palms
Stampin Up:  On the Horizon
Sampin Up:  Ocean Front
I think I will send this card to one of the kids
or my dad.  They all love those woody wagons.
I'm also including a picture of my little
leprechaun.
I don't think HP is very impressed with my
shenanigans. (that word just seems to fit the day) haha
Here are a few cards I made for the kiddos and some
friends.  I stuck a chocolate coin in the little pot of gold.
Here's the St. Patrick's day card line up.
I am still holding onto faith and trusting God for the
healing, but oh friends, I now have been losing my
hair at a rapid rate.  My goodness this darn covid
has exasperated my immune system.  Still no
smell, eyes, still dim and foggy and now hair loss.
good grief.  But in the grand scheme of things, I'm
blessed.  My dear Friend had covid in December
and a few weeks ago they told her it has
attacked her central nervous system, and there
is brain inflammation.  But Praise the LORD
she is making a recovery.

Thank you for your continued prayers and
encouragement as I recover from covid.

#tgifc359~Calming Camellia ~Stampin Up

I'm so excited to have earned this stamp set,
With it's lovely sentiments, especially the one
I used on today's card.  It is one of my favorite
sayings.  I really believe  it to be true.
Find the Joy in the little things, and you will
have joy, peace and contentment.
The other reason is a bit silly, but I will
share.  You see I'm and old movie buff.
Bette Davis plays in a movie called, Now Voyager.
The man she meets on a cruise, gives her
white camellias, symbolic of her newfound self,
and love, he also gives her the nick name Camille.
I love it so much because when she returns
home she is feeling weak under the pressure
of a domineering mother, and lo, she gets
a flower delivery and it is the camellias.
A remembrance to stay strong in her new self.
It's a lovely film of hope and courage.  So hence
the reason I was wishing to get this stamp set.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
