Card #18 for 2026

Dear blog readers, this card is for my dad.
His birthday is flag day.  I think that is so cool,
so I always try to make sure and do something patriotic
for him.  He served our country in the United States Army,
and spent a year in Vietnam.  I'm so very proud of my humble
and courageous dad.   When my mom was alive she use to
say, that I'm a carbon copy of him.  That makes me happy.

I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are stampin up:
Deckled circle dies
Borders to backgrounds
Light the sky
Layered thoughts
Number of years
Our strawberries are coming in, just home all the critters
leave them alone so hubby can have them, I'm a little
worried about seeds yet.
Puppy loves to stand and watch the trains, squirrels,
and birds, it's hard to stay focused on just one thing.
The verse I chose for this card is
Psalm 118:24 NKJV
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Card #17 for 2026

Dear blog readers, it's almost been 2 months since
my last card was made❕❕  I've been doing my
scripture journal doodles, and a little crocheting,
but mostly going to doctors and procedures.

I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are:
Stampin Up:
So sentimental
Here comes the sun
Lilypad lake
and Decled circle dies.
And I thought it was a squirrel pulling out the plants.
The little darling keeps us busy.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Ex 15:26 NKJV
and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God
and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments
and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which
I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
