Card #30 for 2026

Dear blog readers I took quite the creative turn

with the sketch at: Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Let's just say I "stretched the sketch" haha

so I will enter this card in the challenge because I did stick

with the majority of it. In a "long" about way.

I needed a slim line card to house the bookmarks I plan on sending

to my friends and family.  I dried a bunch of my flower petals

and decided to share with people a little piece of my gardens.

The stampin up sets I used are:

For all things, Birthday backgrounds & Gathering moments.

Patriot puppy is helping me with Bible study today.

My friend texted me a message that said, "Fall more in

Love with Jesus"  so I texted her back and said I will make a few cards, to

add that lovely catchphrase to them for my autumn cards.

The verse I chose for this card is:

1 John 4:19 NKJV

We love Him because He first loved us.

Card #29 for 2026

Dear blog readers, we had a whirlwind of a weekend here.

I love it.  Paying for it today with extra pain, but so worth it.

The kids were all here yesterday and we had a nice time

celebrating my son's Birthday.  A few days late, but a day

we could all get together, since they live a distance away.

I made this card for him.  He always captures the most beautiful

sunsets and sends me pictures.  So I tried making a sunset using my inks

and sponges.  I starting my stamping the image, then cut a circle out of a scrap

piece of paper for my sun.  I sponged that heavily and then began shading all

the other colors.  It didn't turn out to shabby. wink

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

Peaceful view

Patriot puppy standing on the deck watching the yard.

This little fella loves to be outside.

I think it's sweet the way his paws hang

over the deck boards.

The view from our alley.  I'm so glad

the privacy fence does just that. Makes

our yard feel private and protected.

The verse I chose for this card is:

Pro. 23:15 NKJV

My son, if your heart is wise,
My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself;

Card #28 for 2026

Dear blog readers, I made a bunch of book marks using

my dried flowers and a laminator.  Some were just petals

so a bit plain, but I think they are neat.  I might stamp something

or use a piece of DSP for the other side.  I personally like the clear

so you can see both sides of the flower and petals.  So I might just

do half one way and half the other.

I will enter this card in the challenge at:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

I used stampin up, Amber Autumn for the images.

I embossed the sentiment in gold to match the gold

in the DSP and layering card stock.  I stamped, colored,

and die cut out the images and used dimensionals to pop them up.

I found this funny quote, after making the chocolate cake from

scratch for my husband's birthday.  He loved it.  So it was

worth the effort.  ↓

The homemade chocolate cake with fudge buttermilk sauce.

I thought this Sept. acronym was lovely to share.

I'm officially 2 months out with no hospital stays or

doctor office procedures.  Thank you Jesus.

This happy violet is grateful I put up the little board fence

to block some of the sun in this south facing window.  She's all blooms.

This quote below literally sums up my adult life with cooking.

We had our friendly side yard visitor again.  This hawk

chases the crows away and mice.

Patriot pup was snuggling up with me on the couch

the other day.  He had a worried look about the phone.

My morning glory looks like the sun is shining through

the ceneter.  Love how bright it looks.

The verse I chose for this card is:

Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
