Sketch #422~Garden in Bloom, Daisy Lane, Beauty Abounds, Very Versailles, Stampin Up

Well folks here it is:  Card #2 for this challenge
I flipped the sketch for this card.  I love
how it turned out.  Perhaps Because
I love daisies so much.
Plus it has one of my all time favorite bumble bees
too.  How cute is that little guy?
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Garden In Bloom
Stampin Up:  Daisy Lane
Stampin Up:  Beauty Abounds
Stampin Up:  Very Versailles
My little garden is at this moment being
covered with a tarp.  My darling husband
is taking care of this for me, since it's suppose
to dip into the twenties tonight.
I have one daisy in my little flower bed,
reading garden.
I call it that because of this lovely little
bench with the kiddos and a dog.  It
reminds me of our family.   My sister
gifted it to me years ago, and I
treasure it.
We had a storm roll through the other night,
and then this lovely rainbow appeared.
Aww.  Thank you Jesus
Then I found the cutest little mushroom and really
wanted to paint it red to have white polka dots.
Lastly our  Sweet HP got his hair cut.  So sharing the
before and after picture.  Do you like the longer hair
on a Springer Spaniel or shaved?
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sketch #422~Campology, Stampin Up

Well I had a great vision in mind with this card,
It didn't pan out the way I was hoping, ( I suppose
the gold diggers thought the same, all that work for fool's gold)
haha.   Sometimes I crack myself up. I seriously never
thought of that statement like that before.  I'm sure that
has to be where it came from.  I will have to google it now.
ooh, I was right.  Yay.  And it ties in so well with camping
and panning for gold.  well isn't that special?
I'm going to submit the card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Campology
I had fun making this card, I just didn't know
when to stop adding things.
The one thing I like about this card is how the
wood embossing folder made it look like a nice frame.
After I got done adding all the camping gear to the side
of the card,  I realized I did it again.  YIKES a bit
busy, so I went right to work on another card.  I will
add that to my blog next.

FMS486, Happiest of Birthdays, Days To Remember, Forever Blossoms, Stampin Up

I made this card for my Grandma.  She will be
98 years old.  What an amazing woman.
She still lives on her own.  Quick story about Grandma.
I was fortunate to grow up right next to her, depending
upon which way you came, she was behind my parents
house or in front of it.  Either way there was a well
worn path to granny's and Granddad's home.
Grandma has lived through so much.  She has buried
two husbands, and three adult children, one being my mom, in
2018.  She has lived through wars, and often tells the story
of when grandpa flew fighter planes during WW2, and
how things had to be rationed, and how she was alone
raising the little ones.
She is one strong little woman, she keeps us
smiling, So I wanted to make her a special card.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I took a little artistic liberty with this sketch to make it work
for a birthday card for Grandma.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Happiest of Birthdays
Stampin Up:  Days To Remember
Stampin Up:  Forever Blossoms.

Sketch #421 Dragonfly Garden, Stampin up

I was in my little craft room today, determined to
make a card.  My lack of concentration is something
crazy lately, even with things I always enjoy.
However, I did learn how to make a new bow.  So
of course I had to add it to my card.  It's called a
Dior bow.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Dragonfly Garden
I was inspired to go with these colors today,
because the lilacs are just starting to bloom outside
my craft room window.   Purple was on my mind.
I added some clear wink of stella to the dragonfly to
give it a nice little shimmer of sparkle.
We have started a garden.  I'm so excited.
We put a few pumpkins and sunflowers in
this little bed.  I will be sure to update it
so you can see the progress.  It's so fun.

Sketch #420~ Simply Succulents, Color & Contour, Ridiculously Awesome, Stampin UP

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Simply Succulents (die)
Stampin Up:   Color & Contour
Stampin Up:  Ridiculously Awesome
Now folks, I honestly just don't have the skills to
make an octagon freehand and have it turn out.
The ruler and I are not well acquainted
So being I have no die to help me out I chose to
use a different shape die.
No matter how many times I put that polka dot
ribbon down it was too high.  Finally after a few
tries, I just left it.  I should really take pictures
of the struggle, my gosh, how I can accurately place
it in the exact same spot as the previous card, blows
my mind.  That's some messed up talent. haha
I've been busy making a few fun little projects.
This one here is for the two people that order from me.
I wanted to make them a gift they could use, and yet
show how much I appreciate them.
This gift box is for a dear friend.  It holds about
8-10 cards depending on how crazy I went with
embellishments.  It is a birthday gift for her.
I have these project videos on my instagram.
Nothing fancy.  If you wanted to check it out.

Health news.  Still plugging along,  Praise the LORD.
Taking all kinds of weird supplements from the
Holistic clinic.  and ironically my raynaud's has calmed
down a bit.  SO that is another praise report.
The new drops just came in Friday,
to relax my nervous system, so hoping it will help.
Please will you pray that my BP will go down.  and also
I have to make a trip on Monday and could use
prayers for strength and no swelling in my legs, and
that I will be alert as I drive the distance .
Thank you for caring.

FMS484~ Color & Contour, Stampin Up

Just a simple card, with a nice bright
cheery color.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Color & Contour
I sometimes get a bit fussy when the colors
don't match up in the stamped image.
So instead of using the stamp that coordinates
with the flower petals, I chose to color them
in for a more precise look, instead of the water color look.

Sketch #419~ So Sentimental, Color & Contour, Stampin Up

Oooh this was a tough sketch for me this week.
But nevertheless, I wanted to give it a try.
So I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  So Sentimental
Stampin Up:  Color & Contour
The one thing I didn't want to do was go overboard.
So I sponged the two tiny banners on the white larger
one, thinking that would help cut down on layers, and distractions.
But as you can see my homemade DSP, is a
bit busy.  So much for keeping things simple.
My constant struggle.
I like the bright sunshine colors though.  And do you
want to know what gave me the inspiration?  The
yellow brick road, from the Wizard of Oz.
That's right folks.  When I went to the holistic woman
yesterday.  There in between two buildings was a delightful
surprise.  I'll share a couple pictures at the bottom
of this post.
It made me so happy.  I had to take a few pictures.
It was like God saying this is the the path, (yellow brick
road)  walk in it.  I know it sounds a bit weird, but
it just gave me confirmation, that I need to try
something different because my doctors aren't
helping me.
So I went into the office with a hopeful attitude.
Praying God would give the woman wisdom and
guidance to help.   She told me after the test,
that my adrenal glands are exhausted, and that my
nervous system is shot.  which explains a lot.  I also
have some issues in the gut, which need some supplementing.
I left overwhelmed but hopeful.  She seems quite willing
to walk through this with me.  Please continue to pray
that things will work out and I will be on the path to
healing and restoration.   I'm still keeping my doctor
appointment in August but wouldn't it be grand
if blood work came back all good.
Here is the crew on the yellow brick road.
Well we sure did have a busy day yesterday.  Between
finding the place, which was a 2½ hour drive, then a 2 hour
appointment.  We went to our son's house he lives down
in that area, spent the afternoon with him.  Came home
to pizza, my dad ordered for us all.  Our son and his
girlfriend actually drove back up here, and our daughter
and son in law came over, so it was a fun filled night.
I was and still am exhausted today.  but it was all so worth it.
