Card #28 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I'm trying to get back into the swing of stamping,
just don't seem to have that spark, but I will
keep trying, LORD willing it will all come back.
I made this card for my son.  I wanted something
fun and cheerful to show him how proud I am
of the choices he is making in life.  He will
be celebrating a One year anniversary and I wanted
to let him know I'm celebrating with him.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Watercolor shapes, happy & heartfelt,
one wild ride, brightest beauty.
Lawn Fawn:  Sweet Smiles
I suppose I could of used the bokeh technique, but
instead I decided to do a little masking and stamping to
make the background look like gumballs of all sizes. The
glitter washi tape on the sides, just gives the extra sparkle.
I made a few nugget boxes for the kids for Easter.
The DSP was a bit flimsy so I glued it down on
heavier card stock to make the boxes more sturdy.
My daughter sent me the "Peanuts" message below.
We always thought our beloved HP had the attitude of
snoopy.  So this is absolutely perfect what Charlie
Brown is writing, words just can't say how lonesome
we are without our pal.
I made little paw coaster for my etsy shop,
and decided to name it Heavenly Paws in honor
of our HP (Hunter)  I will see how well it
goes over, right now I have a coaster with a
little succulent planter.  I might just be making a group
of coasters to sell as well.  You can check out the

The verse I chose for this card is:
Colossians 3:23-24KJV
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord,
and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall
receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye
serve the Lord Christ.

Card #27 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Meant to be, wildflower path
His love
I've just not felt much like doing anything
since Hunter had to be put down, I feel like
part of my heart is missing.  I don't want
to clean or cook, I never realized how losing
a pet could be so devastating.  I now
got myself sick over this so been dealing
with that as well.   Nevertheless when I looked
at the calendar and realized how close Easter
was I thought I better make some cards.
So I used some bright cheery colors to reflect
Easter and spring.
I made a stack of them so I could get them
out to family and friends.
If you are a praying person, please will you
say a prayer for my health specifically my BP and eyes, and
my leg, I had a bad fall, and tomorrow I go to see if there
is a blood clot in my leg.  The fall happened back in January.
The Rx I'm on right now is causing some issues with
my eyes, and I have a few more days with it.
Also just trouble with a few other things that went
haywire too, but God knows. SO just praying for
healing in it all.  To His Glory.  Thank you dear friends.

The verse I chose for this card is:
Jeremiah 17:14KJV
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and
I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

Card #26 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Swanlake, Light & Peace
Studio G for the sentiment.
I just realized Easter is March 31st.  Goodness
gracious I best start working on some cards.  So
when I saw this sketch it just reminded me of the
tomb where they laid Jesus.  And hence I made
a card reflecting his Glorious Resurrection.
I then printed off the the lyrics to one of my favorite
Easter hymns you can listen to it here.
I added a few more items to my etsy shop if you you are
interested in having a look and see.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Luke 24:6-7KJV
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake
unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The son of man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and
the third day rise again.

Card #25 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I have been in a slump lately, and forgot to
send my Grandma a Valentine card.  So
I wanted to make sure she got a St. Patrick's day one.
You see~ we had to put out beloved dog down, on February 8th,
and let's just say it's been quite difficult for me here.
With that being said I've been trying to keep
myself busy with things, like organizing and cleaning
but it's just so hard.  So this evening I quick make
a card for Grandma.  Bless her heart she will be
101 this June.  I hope to go visit her this summer.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
First signs of spring.
I decided to use a rainbow to show
all the lovely colors spring has to offer, especially
after a long winter, just to see how everything
bursts forth in color is a miracle indeed.  So I tied
the rainbow into a little St Patty's day card.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:   Detailed dogwood.  (which totally reminds
me of spring, the legend is quite lovely how they resemble
a cross and do so right at Easter time)  I used the small
stamp so I could cut the image out and it would look like a 3 leaf clover.
Cauldron Bubble is a halloween stamp set, but it worked perfect for my pot
of gold.
Over the rainbow set is of course what I used for the rainbow
and the sentiments.

Below is a picture of a stamp set I will be adding to my Etsy shop soon.
If you are interested.  I have quite a few things added in there now.
The verse I chose for this card today is:
Psalm 5:12KJV
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Card #24 for 2024

Happy Sunday Crafting friends.
We have a glorious 60°day blooming here in WI.
How fun are these sassy cows?
They are "utterly" adorable.  I wonder
how often I will be using that pun with this
lovely Stampin up set called: Cutest Cows.
I used a wobbler behind the standing cow's head.
I love the dimension & action it brings to the card.
I will enter this card at:
The verse I chose for this card is:
1 Peter 2:2 KJV
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word,
 that ye may grow thereby
