FMS466~Happiest Of Birthdays, Stampin Up, Stamping Bella, Journaling Mochi Girl.

I made this card for my dear daughter's
Birthday.   She is such a blessing in my
life.  Wise beyond her years, and I just
love her sense of humor.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I flipped the sketch so it would work best
with my stamp.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Happiest Of Birthdays
Stamping Bella:  Journaling Mochi Girl
I used an embossing folder for the background.
It just made the rest of the card pop.  I really
like the rich razzleberry color.  It's lovely.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

#TGIFC295~ Perfectly Plaid, Itty Bitty Christmas, Festival of Trees, Winter Woods, Peaceful Boughs, Stampin Up

I was inspired to make this card for the challenge
at:  TGIF
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Winter Woods
Stampin Up:  Peaceful Boughs
I got a bit carried away with that lovely
shimmery white embossing paste.
I love that sparkly goodness.
It actually helps to keep the pine tree branches
lifted too.  So that's a bonus.
The DSP works lovely with this theme.
As you can see from the pictures that
follow, I spent the afternoon, making
cards with trees.
These actually went quite fast,
after I decided on the layout.
The coordinating punches are so handy.
haha
I like how festive the trees look.
The stamp sets featured in these cards are:
Stampin Up:  Perfectly Plaid
Stampin Up:  Itty Bitty Christmas
Stampin Up:  Festival of Trees

Sketch #400~Chock full of Cheer, Wrapped in Warmth, Scentsational Season, Stampin up

I made this cozy card for the challenge at:
I love how well the ric rac ribbon goes
with the embossed background.   It's sort of a
playful card.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Chock Full of Cheer
Stampin Up:  Wrapped In Warmth
Stampin Up:  Scentsational Season
I even added a bit of ric rac ribbon to the
mittens.  To keep with the festive look.
Nothing like a toasty cup of hot
chocolate to take the chill out of a
a day spent building snowmen.
At least in my imagination, that's what I was
thinking.    You might notice I added that
ric rac ribbon right over the top of the DSP,
to make sure they looked like 2 different
strips for the sketch.
It's kind  of a patriotic Christmas card, now
that I step back and look at it. haha..
I haven't even done any Christmas baking yet.
My dear Husband is off on Thursday afternoon,
so that will be the day.
Today after stamping, I got caught up in watching
youtube videos on how to crochet little
ornaments.  (again)  I'm determined to make
little trees, that will hopefully be cute.
The first one, not so much cuteness.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

FMS466 White Christmas, Stampin Up

I made this fun woodland adventure card for the
challenge at:
The DSP works lovely with the
whole country Christmas theme I was going for.
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:   White Christmas
I had so much fun making this little scene, and
ya all know how much I love that shimmery
white embossing paste.  It's sparkly goodness.
I couldn't resist adding the cute deer in the picture,
even though he is enormous.  I convinced myself
creativity has no rules.
It's almost Christmas my friends.
Keep your Your eyes focused on the reason for the
season.  The best gift ever.  Baby Jesus was born.

The Night Before Christmas Card.

No challenge for this card.
But I just couldn't resist making a card with
that adorable Santa.
I'm not sure where I even got them.   All
I remember is cutting out these two Jolly ole
St. Nick's  Knowing fair well I'd be making a card
with them.
I stamped the inside of my card with the
sentiment from this stamp set:
Stampin Up:  #elfie
I just LOVE that jolly little face, and fluffy
beard.  Oooh I'm thinking of the classic book now.
The Night Before Christmas.

I do believe my kiddos will appreciate these
cards, even though they are both adults.

Challenge # 85~ Cross Stitched Christmas, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
Challenge #85~ Anything Christmas Goes
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Cross-Stitched Christmas
I enjoyed making this card.  I think stamped
cross stitching is a bit easier on my eyes then
the thread and needle cross stitch.
I love how festive the DSP is with this card.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

TMS~ Making Christmas Bright, Beautiful Baubles, Stampin Up, Merry Christmas Card

I made this fun card for the challenge at:
I think I'm going to focus on Christmas cards
right up to the New Year.  I just love making them.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Making Christmas Bright
Stampin Up:  Beautiful Baubles
I did a lot of ink sponging with this card.  I wish
I had  went  a little lighter with the blue so that the red
Christmas bauble would show better.
Over all I am pleased with how it turned out, perhaps
next time I'd add a bit of wink of stella for a little sparkle.
Had my neurologist appointment today,
it went surprising well.  So Praising the LORD for
that and also that they didn't find anymore blood.
They did however find a new auto-immune issue,
so coming to terms with that and trying to figure out
the next step I need to take to help my neuropathy and
other issues, but overall it went well.  So thank you JESUS.
And thank you to all who were praying for me.  I truly
appreciate it.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #399 Warm & Toasty, Christmas Gleaming, Swirly Frames, Wonderland, Winter Woods, Stampin Up, Brett & Brenda, Stamping Bella

I have not stamped again in a few days.  But I
have been busy with cards.  Just trying to write
on them so I could get them sent out before
Christmas.
I love receiving cards, and this year, sad to
say not to many, but nevertheless, the ones I
did receive will be hung on the garland.
I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Warm & Toasty
Stampin Up:  Christmas Gleaming
Stampin Up:  Swirly Frames
I just purchased the swirly frames stamp set,
and I think I'm going to LOVE it.  I want
to make more cards with it, but
ran low on energy today.
Notice the little hat on the reindeer, I swiped
it from the polarbear in this stamp set.
The little reindeer just looked unfinished.
So I added a little cap and bam, it just finished off the card.
I'm also including two of the square cards I made
at my Daughter's request.
The couple intended to receive the card were married
in the great outdoors.  Forest, creek, the whole deal.
Which card do you think they chose for the new couple?
Both cards had the same inside.
The stamp sets featured to make the wedding cards are:
Stampin Up:  Wonderland
Stampin Up:   Winter Woods
Stamping Bella:  Brett & Brenda Get Married.

Well friend, I went to a new Rheumatologist,
and that was interesting.  Eight tubes of blood
and xrays, and waiting for results now.
Also, had to go back for my lab work because
apparently I'm bleeding.  I can't see it but they do.
So praying in the name of Jesus that is resolved.
Seems a bit worrisome.  Back to the neurologist
on Friday and after that my friends, I just want to
hibernate like a big ole bear, and not go to
anymore doctors.  This is getting to be quite
an ordeal.  But Praise the Lord my husband
has been escorting me to them.  So that is
really sweet and I will count my blessing.
So just asking for prayer, especially in regards to
the bleeding.  Thank you so very much.

I hope you're all ready for Christmas.    I feel
each year I don't spend enough time basking in the
Holiness of the season.  It's always a whirlwind,
I have to remind myself calm down, "be still"
and reflect on the Awesome birth of our Savior.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
