SSC201 EASTER HUES~ Beautiful Bouquet, Stampin Up

I was most excited to purchase this stampin up set:  Beautiful Bouquet.  I debated so long whether or not to get it, and finally I just decided to take the jump.   So I was very happy to be able to use it today, however, I'm still  intimidated by all the framelits  that go with it.  Plus there are so many little pieces, I don't even know what some go to.     I was going to make a fancy bouquet but just got too overwhelmed so I just stamped the images.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:

The colors I chose were purple, yellow and green.  Very springy indeed.   In fact while stamping I looked out the window to see my first robin of the year.    So that's gotta be a good sign spring is coming, even if we still have snow on the ground here.  Not in this picture of course, but it's here, trust me😉

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Challenge #107 - DIY~For Being You, Stampin Up, Handyman

Ok, so there is barely any stamping on this card.   Only on the inside, and for that I used the Stampin up set, For Being You.
For the outside of the card I used these "Handyman" Stickers.. That I found in my stash of scraps I was cleaning out,  so I thought I'd make a quick card for the challenge at:

And while I was cleaning I put together this lovely little box of tags, and clip art.  I will be adding that to my Etsy shop and also I will be selling this lovely brand new stamp set.  Home to Roost in my Etsy shop  Hopefully I will get that accomplished tomorrow.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CAS Game #136 One For All, For Being you, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used are:

Stampin Up: One For All
Stampin Up:  For Being you

I went very simple with this card.  The ink color I chose was grapefruit grove.  The little enamel dots look a bit darker in the picture but they do match pretty nicely.

Challenge #314 - Sketch~Here Comes the Sun Stampin Up

The fourth card I have made for today is for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card today is Here Comes the Sun from Stampin Up.  I just had to add a little bow at the bottom, because it reminded me of the ribbons you earn for first, second, or third place prizes like at a county fair.  I thought to myself, it fit the sentiment perfect to turn it into a prize ribbon of sorts.  If you believe in yourself you will have a winning attitude.

FMS381~Friendly Conversation, Beautiful You, Stampin Up

Here we have Card Number three for today.  I made this one for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: Friendly Conversation
Stampin Up: Beautiful you
I used a little strip of silver washi tape next to the vertical blue paper.  The bottom picture looks like it's more navy colored but trust me it's a blueberry blue.   Must have been bad lighting for the camera.
I paper pieced the lovely little lady's dress and matching umbrella.  I think it turned out fabulous.

CTS #315.Itty Bitty Greetings, Hold on to Hope, Stampin Up

Card Number two I will be submitting to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: Itty Bitty Greetings
Stampin Up: Hold on to Hope

I really can't even tell you the amount of times I die-cut the cross, I had so many colors and ideas and nothing was turning out like I had hoped, until this one.  SO in away it was a small miracle, and I don't mean that in a not nice way.  I was very pleased it finally worked out.

Challenge 400~Hello Cupcake, Birthday Backgrounds, Tabs for Everything, Stampin Up

I was in card making mode today.   I got four cards made this morning.
Up first is the Birthday card that I will submit to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Hello Cupcake
Stampin Up: Birthday Backgrounds
Stampin Up: Tabs for Everything
I had to tie a little silver bow on the top of my cupcake dome so you could see I used acetate paper to make a "glass" covering.  However, then I couldn't see it was there on the picture, so I added the silver twine to match the silver cake plate.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  I hope you will check out the other cards I made today.  Three more to post now.

Well speaking of cards- I made this one for the challenge at:

Isn't it wonderful that I found a sentiment that fit perfectly on top of the whale's tail?   Perhaps it's just I that gets a kick out of little things like that, but seriously it was a fantastic moment here.

Sketch #309 Regarding Dahlias & Gift certificates.. Stampin Up

Well, here we are folks, my forth card of the day, and a few little gift certificate cards too.  When I purchase a retired stamp from someone, I like to make them a thank you note with the set I bought, so that is what we have here.   Actually the gift certificate stamp I purchased too from a lady, and I am most excited to start making bundles of those to add to my Etsy shop.   Perhaps I could make some as coupons for returning customers.. ooh the options.

The card is stamped with a  stampin up set called:  Regarding Dahlias.    I believe it's from 2013 but new to me.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my cards.  I love reading your comments.

March Technique challenge & Challenge #103 Delightful Decorations Stampin Up

The third card I made today was a delight to make, because I LOVE making Christmas cards.
I will be submitting this to the following two challenges:
and

Our theme for the new challenge is

"Use Kraft"

I really love how the blue bursts with brightness against the kraft background.  I sponged lightly over the snowflakes to help the embossing stand out a bit.

My second card for the day is this delightful "cute as a bug" card.    It's a stamp set from stampin up.   After a bit of stamping, coloring and fussy cutting I decided to keep the center square  simple with just a few little enamel dots scattered about.  ok quite a few😉

CTS #314 Forever Lovely, itty bitty Greeting, Stampin Up

I was in card making mode today.   So up first is the card I made for the challenge at:
It was a difficult sketch for me to work with because all I could see was an ice-cream cone on it's side.  Perhaps that was my subconscious telling me I wanted ice cream😉
I chose to work with the Forever Lovely  and the itty bitty greeting set from Stampin up to create this lovely card.  I really like the gorgeous grape ink, especially for these flowers.  I wish I would have diecut the other parts of the flower in purple too.  But I suppose a little green helps to bring in some extra color.

I'm also adding a picture of all my scraps.. Clip art, tags, banners and such.  I will be putting  that in my etsy store tomorrow.  The box is about 5x7 and 2 inches thick and will be crammed full of goodies.  I think someone might purchase it.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

HSSIC307 Thoughtful Branches, Stampin Up

Happy Sunday.   We had quite the experience yesterday with HP.  It was time for Robb to cut his nails, well if you have a dog, you will understand it can be a challenge.  Throw in the fact HP is a Hyper Springer Spaniel, and it's a rather exciting time.  Most of his nails are black which makes it hard to see the quick.  My husband was almost done, and with great success, until the last one.  UGH.. we always have the quick stop powder on hand, because one time we didn't and resorted to using cornstarch, flour, and such.  Any ways this time we had the quick powder and applied it stop the bleeding.  YAY.. well yesterday was a lovely day here in WI.  So our little hound wanted outside to go play, we didn't think nothing of it until it was time to come in the house and here the powder had come off and blood was everywhere.  Needless to say for the rest of the afternoon he was on house arrest.  He did NOT like that, but for his own good we had to insist.  Today he is doing well, and no sign of anymore bleeding but we are still being extra cautious.
Love that little fella.   I included a picture of him sitting on our footstool.  That's his "include" me chair.  😉

Well onto the card.  This one I made for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in today's card is Stampin Up: Thoughtful Branches.  The verse is from a set that has no name at least not one I can find.
I decided to stamp the blooms on the tree in multiple colors of pink to give some depth, and I think what I did was make it look a bit blurry.    I added the little blue bird and grass to break up all the pink on the card.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my ramblings.
