FMS433 Gorgeous Grunge, Crafting Forever, Label Me Bold, Stampin Up, Thinking of you

I made this card for the challenge at:

The Stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Gorgeous Grunge
Stampin Up:  Crafting Forever
Stampin Up:  Label Me Bold

I think this splatter ink and pen work well together for the card today.  I love the bright green color.  Just makes everything pop.   I used dimensionals to give the pen a "boost" above the ink.

PP488 Timeless Tulips, Beautiful Bouquet, Wishing you Well, Stampin Up, Happy Anniversary Card

I made this card for a dear friend and her husband, who just happen to share the same anniversary as my husband and I.
For a quick little wedding story.  My husband and I had originally picked August 4th for our wedding, but my mom, (may she rest in peace)  refused to attend a summer wedding.  So we moved it up to May 2nd.
Well, that my friends was 28 years ago.
When it came time for our daughter to marry, my mom said who would want to get married in the winter.  Well being a bit wiser, and little more bold, I said gently to mom.  "they will marry when they choose"  and they did.  Sadly my mom passed away 2 weeks to the day before their wedding.   Which has already been 2 years ago.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

#GDP238 Flourishing Phrases, Woven Heirlooms, Stampin Up, Thank you Card

I made this card for my friend's Mom who sewed protective face masks for us.  They were such a nice gift and beautiful vibrant colors, so that's what I wanted to reflect in the card I made for her today.

I posted a picture in my last post of the lovely masks if you want to scroll down to take a peak.

Sketch #366 Bonanza Buddies, Stampin Up Happy Birthday

I got a lovely surprise in the mail today.   My dear friend's mom made us masks.  My husband has an essential job so we are grateful to God for sustaining us during this time, however, he does not need to wear a mask.  But I told my friend, I will where mine to cover my double chin and perhaps it will help slow down my snacking.  They are lovely.  I will include a picture.  Her mom has made over a hundred masks for the community what a lovely service.

The card I made today I will submit to the challenge at:

Image may contain: 1 person

The stamp set featured in this card today is:
Stampin Up:  Bonanza Buddies

I used the die that came with the stamp set for the tag, however, I cut it in half to fit the card layout, so the striped washi tape was perfect to hide the cut line.   I added a cute little clip to the ribbon, but I will take it off should I give this card to a younger child.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping 💗PJ

On another happy note, I sold a stamp set in my shop.  How wonderful it it going to a fellow stamper.

SSC229 Beach Happy, Stampin Up

We had some lovely weather this weekend in WI.  I was able to sit outside for a few minutes to enjoy the sun.  I don't want to sound like I am complaining or grumbling, but because of a new back injury I can't sit long.  Oh well hopefully it will heal eventually.  I just need to be patient with it.

I made this tropical card for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in the card today is:
Stampin Up:  Beach Happy

I inked up my brayer and used a piece of photo paper to create the sunset background.     The colors I chose were golden yellow, orange, and green.  A lot of little fussy cutting but I think it was worth it.  I paper pieced the chair and umbrella.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #365 Snow Front, Here Comes The Sun, Stampin Up, You are my Sunshine

Well, folks I had quite an interesting time making this card.    I overthink everything a bit to much.
So I thought of my little lodge at the base of the snowy mountains, and I realized I don't think I could live there in fear of an avalanche or something,   Then when I added the deer, I thought how lovely to watch the animals.  Then quickly remembered my house right here in town with it's wild life. I really appreciate some,  and others not so much.  Like the fact we always have to have the mouse traps loaded with bait, and just the other day I felt like Dorothy on the Wizard of oz when she was trapped in the Wicked Witch's castle, and Toto got away.. Well my friends, that's what happen as I said to my husband, "he got away, toto got away" however the darn mouse took the trap with him.  So my dear man had to search for that, he found the trap finally but no mouse.  Sigh.. good times living in an older home.

Well onto the card again.  I will submit it to the challenge at:

As you can see I didn't add the flowers along the bottom of the circle, because I ran out of room, so much for my overthinking here.  I completely forgot to leave space.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Snow Front
Stampin Up:  Here Comes The Sun

I stamped all the images on a piece of white card stock and then cut them into 4 pieces and glued them down to the brown card stock.  It reminds me of a mosaic art work being pieced together.

Happy news to report:  I sold a couple cards in my Etsy shop.  That always makes me smile.

#551~Bonanza Buddies, Stampin Up, Birthday Card

I made this fun birthday card for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:

Stampin Up:  Bonanza Buddies

Such a neat sketch.  I chose to use my punch to  make the strips of card stock behind the sentiment.    Now looking at the pattern again, I think it would work fabulously turned vertical.

Challenge 453 First Frost, Sweetly Swirled, Forever Blossoms, Stampin Up, Wedding Card

I made this card for a friend who just got married.   In fact it was the wedding I made the invites for.   They are an amazing couple.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in today's card are:

Stampin Up:  First Frost
Stampin Up:  Sweetly Swirled
Stampin Up:  Forever Blossoms

The card stock behind the white, is egg plant, I took another picture with extra light to try and show the color a bit better, but it still looks rather black.  Well, in person it's a lovely deep purple.   I used ribbon behind the very "lush" flowers, to create a nice back drop for a wedding card, and just give it some more texture.   I thought about adding embellishments, but then decided I already had a lot going on with this card.  So I left them off this time.  However, Now looking at the picture I think some nice white pearls would have been lovely. Sigh.   I struggle with decisions over the simply things in life.

PP486~ Woven Heirlooms, Positive Thoughts, Sincere Sympathy

I made this card for the challenge at:

I didn't have the exact ink colors so I tried to match them as close as possible.

The stamp sets featured in this card today are:

Stampin Up:  Woven Heirlooms
Stampin Up:  Positive Thoughts

I think the two sets work marvelously together. To create a nice sympathy card.  They are always difficult to make.
I never thought  I would have liked these three colors together but gosh they are wonderful.   That yellow just brightens things up.

Sketch #364 ~ Best of Snow, Holly Berry Happiness, The Gang's All Meer, Stampin Up

Well, I'm listening to Georgie.  I love George Ezra's voice and his songs are so happy.  Trying to focus on cards.  I always look forward to seeing the sketch for the week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges

So I will submit today's card.

I used DSP and cut it so the picture would stay intact  and create a lovely snow scene behind the snowman.

The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up:  Holly Berry Happiness
Stampin Up:  Best of Snow

No photo description available.I made a little cut in the bottom of the card to stick the snowman in, so it would look like he is really in the snow.

I'm also sharing the cards I made for my kiddos.  On Easter Sunday my husband and I did meals on wheels for the kids since we all can't get together. We dropped off all the goods for them to enjoy along with these cards.
I put these cards on a facebook group, actually two groups.  Stamp Cafe, where it got over 487 likes, that blows my mind, and the other group is called Card Making USA.    I say that because I also submit some of my other cards there too, I can't share links and such but I try to  show my blog address, so if someone is really interested they can look me up, and then they will see the challenges I play with.   I sometimes feel guilty taking all the credit. Last weeks card that I made for AHSC I put out there on the two pages.  Everyone loved the layout and dimensions of the card, all I could say was thank you.    I'm hoping it creates more traffic for the challenges I enjoy playing with.  Any ways.  Gotta little bit long winded there.  haha.

Next up are some pictures I thought I'd share.  One is our home, I finally got on board with the hearts.  I've noticed my street don't have many windows decorated at all, and we live on a very busy street.  So I went to work on Saturday and started cutting paper hearts.   Note the lovely green grass on Saturday, on Sunday Evening/night we got about 5 inches of snow again.  Oh boy.
I'm also sharing a picture of the train yard.  I didn't get a good picture of the graffiti, but I always enjoy seeing how the trains are painted.  It truly is an art in my opinion.

Sketch #363 Love is Kindness, So Sentimental, Beauty Abounds, Stampin Up.

Today we had lovely spring weather in the form of sun and blowing snow.   However, I made a nice springy card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up:  Love is Kindness
Stampin Up:  So Sentimental
Stampin Up: Beauty Abounds

I love how the embossed card stock gives such great character to the card.  That little butterfly in the corner is strategically placed over a stamped image that did not turn out the way I wanted.

I've been working on simple layered Christmas cards from scrapbook paper.  I have a bunch in my card stash.  I'm also cleaning out my card stock.  I thought I would give it away to some friends that have younger children at home.
