Sketch #339 Little Elephant, Birds of a Feather, Stampin up

Oh goodness, I struggled with this weeks sketch.   I just couldn't seem to get the desired look I wanted on a card, so I almost gave up, until this evening with one last try.   I even included a picture of one of the "fails"  It was just too busy, and uneven strips.  Goodness, I'm almost embarrassed to show it, however, I'm also showing a picture of  my desk with the mess I make while stamping.  Does anyone else end up working in a tight spot on the desk top?   I  box myself right in when I'm thinking and stamping. haha.   Any ways the card is done, and just in the nick of time.  So I will submit it to the following challenge:

Oh my gosh as my story goes, I paste the image of the sketch above, and just like that it jumps off the screen and almost slaps me in the face.. I should have done water, since the bottom portion of the card looks like waves and a sweet little sailboat for the flower.  HOLY cow.  Such is my life, I make it more complicated then need be.

Any ways the stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin up:  Little Elephant
Stampin up:  Birds of a Feather

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Another reminder I'm still having a sell in my Etsy shop until Oct. 31st.  I'm so excited to say I've had three sales.   You will find stamps, stamp sets, embossing folders, and scrapbook papers all on sale now.  Oh.. and of course cards and paper projects too.  Hope you will pop in for a visit.

TMS #526~Toile Christmas, Stampin Up

Hello~  Looks like we had one last nice day to finish up yard work, before the snow comes.   At least that is what "they" say.   My husband worked hard all afternoon, which gave me some time to make this card.   I was having a day of rest anyways.   Yesterday our kiddos all came home and I made a nice supper for everyone, so I am spent, and very sore today.  But it was all worth it.
Love spending time with our kids.  The time goes so fast, and there are so many laughs and good times.

Now for the card I will submit it to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:

Stampin Up:  Toile Christmas

I love how it turned out.  I was a bit worried since I only have one red alcohol marker.  I didn't think it would give a nicely blended look.  But it did fabulous.

I'm also trying to add more things to my Etsy shop because this is the last week for my sale.  I hope you will stop in and see the cards, paper projects, stamps, scrapbook papers, and embossing folders I have available.

HSSIC325~Buffalo Check, Harvest Hellos, For All Things, Thankful Forest Friends, Stampin Up

It is finally not raining and cloudy here in WI.   The sun is shining and I want to go outside and enjoy some fresh air, which means sitting in my chair watching my husband work.  Stinks I can't help like I use to, but nevertheless being outside will be fun.
BUT.. before I go out I wanted to make a quick Sunday afternoon card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Buffalo Check
Stampin Up:  Harvest Hellos
Stampin Up:  For All Things
Stamping Up:  Thankful Forest Friends

I really like how this card turned out the orange ribbon makes that beautiful pumpkin just pop right off the card.  Could also be the amount of dimensions I used on the back too.  😉

I'm including a picture of this little squirrel perched on our post, driving HP our dog crazy.  Mr.  Squirrel was all calm and cool, knowing that HP could not very well get after him.

I'm still having a sale in my Etsy shop, if you'd like to stop in for a visit and favorite to my shop that would be much appreciated.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CAS Game #151~Dino Days, Spooky Sweets, Birds of a Feather, Spooktacular Bash, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:

I chose to make a Halloween Card, the colors seemed most fitting.  However, I wanted to think a little outside the box, because I've been making a few pumpkin cards lately.  So folks I reached for an entirely different stamp set and mixed it with a few of my Halloween ones.

The stamps featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Dino Days
Stampin Up:  Spooky Sweets
Stampin Up:  Birds of a Feather
Stampin Up:  Spooktacular Bash

I think it turned out cute and clever.  I love the dinosaur holding the trick or treat sign with his little pumpkin ready for candy.  Also how cute is that Pterodactyl dressed up in black to be a bat?
FUN stuff.

I have been working on a few more pencil packs.  I think I will add this to my Etsy Store.   While I'm still running the sale.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

PP463~Spooktacular Bash, Spooky Sweets, Spooky Cat, Harvest Hellos, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:

I let the DSP help me out a bit with the colors.   It has the orange, black and gray.   I did of course add a bit more orange with the pumpkin, I had to stop myself because I almost added a green leaf to his stem.   PHEW.. I checked the color challenge again first.   I then added some black and eggplant bats to finish off this card.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Spooktacular Bash
Stampin Up:  Spooky Sweets
Stampin Up:  Spooky Cat
Stampin Up:  Harvest Hellos

After making this card, I got in the swing of things for Halloween.  I made eight more delightful cards to send out to friends and family.  Did you know the post office has spooky Halloween stamps?   I just found out today.   How fabulous for our card sending.

I also made a little pencil pack for a friend's grand-daughter.   I'm thinking of making a bunch for the kids this year for Halloween.   I suppose I should get working on that little project.

I'm so excited to say I have had 2 sales in my Etsy shop this month.  Whoohoo❕  I'm running a sale until the end of the month. I hope you stop by and visit. I have cards and stamps too.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #338~Nothing Sweeter, Stampin Up

Ooh how exciting my yard has a flock of birdies.  I'm most pleased that they were visiting my bird house.  I got a few pictures.  I love how the little sparrow is peaking out of his house saying "hello"   I'm also thrilled I got this fabulous picture of the blue jays.  I think they are so pretty with vibrant coloring.   It's so funny because when I tried to get to the window to get the picture, HP was hot on my trail, thinking he missed something outside, so after that he had to stand by the patio to keep watch.

Now onto the card.    I  am in need of making more Christmas cards.  So that's what I did.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Nothing Sweeter

I stamped each image a little off in the squares, because honestly they wouldn't fit and I think it just gives the card a little more character this way.  I decided to use some lovely candy cane twine, however, when it came to lacing it through the jingle bells.  YIKES, impossible,  I wasted many minutes trying, and cutting the  twine shorter and shorter to re-start, before finally giving up and getting string to which I then tied to the twine.  My goodness what an ordeal, but we pulled (haha) through.
 Sometimes I crack myself up.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CTS #342~Sip Sip Hooray, Stampin Up

I was busy making little boxes for some of my cards.   I have included a picture at the bottom of this post.  A woman contacted me and asked if I'd would be willing to donate a few items for baskets that she will be raffling off.  I was delighted.  Hopefully they will like the cards, each little box contains 4 cards and envelopes.   I also hope to increase some business to my etsy shop.

Now for the card today.
I will submit it to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Sip Sip Hooray

I added some glossy accents to each glass.  I love how it makes the stamped images look so realistic.

#GDP210~ Merry Moose, Snow Front, Stampin Up

Today while making this card I had to laugh out loud.     As you can see I  made this a winter/Christmas card.  Loved the plaid background and cable knit embossing folder.   Then came my dilemma I was stamping my mountains, cabin, and then the trees, and the "pond"  I reached for my little snowman in this set and thought, wait a minute I can't have grass and a snowman.   Now here's where I started laughing, because I looked outside to check on my husband, there he was mowing the grass and it was snowing.  Cracked me up.  I'm like while gosh if it happens in "real life"  it can happen on my card, however I had already finished the card, and decided next time for the snowman.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Merry Moose
Stampin Up:  Snow Front

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Don't forget to check out my Etsy shop.  I'm running a sale through the end of this month.

Sketch #337 High Tide, Above the Clouds, Lighthouse, Stampin Up Great Impressions

Well, here we have a card I made for the challenge at:
Once again, so many ideas, but nothing was going as planned.  So start fresh, and that folks is what this card is.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: High Tide
Stampin Up:  Above the Clouds
Stamping Up:  Lighthouse
Great Impressions G305

I did a bit of coloring and then sponged on some clouds to help fill in the white space and make it look more ideal for the flying seagulls by the lighthouse.  I like the depth of color in the water.  Also, I used some lovely "rope"  to go with the whole theme of my card.  I even had to look up on youtube how to tie a sailors knot so I could add that to my banner.    This was a super easy video to follow.  I think it turned out fabulous.

Next I'll share a few of the little projects I've been working on, so I can add it to my etsy shop  I'm having a sale until the end of October.  I was told I should raise my prices and not have any shipping and handling.  Well ironically I did just that and I haven't had a sale since then.  I'm hoping my 10% off sale this month will help.   I need to clear out some of my items.

Image may contain: table and indoorImage may contain: indoorImage may contain: people sitting and indoorImage may contain: indoor
And lastly I finally cleaned up my work station so I could share some pictures of my craft room.   I will have to update that in my bar at the top.  I no longer am crafting on the porch.  The porch is my Bible study room and Husband's work station.
So my daughter's old room is now my craft room.  It is 8½ x 9½ and here are a few pictures. I just left her lovely book border in here.  I did make a video too, but it was 5 agonizing minutes of my terrible voice, so I probably won't share that, even though HP was adorable in it.
I Love checking out peoples craft rooms.  So I thought I'd share mine.

Also I just wanted to mention,  I have been blessed with many stamps, but here's the truth, I've been stamping  for probably close to 25 years, I don't like to admit that much because My stamping is not what I would consider "amazing"   it's just a hobby, but I brought it up  because in that time span a person does get quite a collection of stamps. 😉

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

I hope everyone had a lovely "World Card Making Day" yesterday.  I know I made a few Cards for the occasion, however I don't really need a reason to make cards other then it's my hobby and stress/pain reliever.
However, in honor of the World Card Making day I'm running a sale in my Etsy shop until the end of October.  Everything is on sale, cards, stamps, a few of my little projects.  I hope you will come check it out.
