Card #73 for 2025

Dear blog readers, it's official, I'm starting
my thanksgiving cards today, and this is the
Second one so far- my goal-God willing is to
make at least 10 Thanksgiving cards
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamps I used in this card are:
Samping Up:  Birds of a feather
Stampabilities: Happy Thanksgiving
The Boyds Collection: Over the river

I can't believe this! I flipped the die-cut leaves
with the attached dsp and ribbon upside down.  No
wonder I ran out of room for my little turkery.. sigh
talk about turkey's  my goodness I feel goofy, looking at
it I was like oh no, I've been so tired lately and my eyes
a bit weak, but to make that mistake I couldn't fix it so I just
went with it.. the wide strip is at the bottom.  shucks.
So everything had to be shifted a little higher to fit.

Below is a picture of Patriot.  Apparently he got tired
of me and my frustration so he's snoozing.  I like to think
it's the Christmas music that lulled him to snoozeville,
The verse I chose for this card is:
Psalm 6:2 KJV
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Card #72 for 2025

Dear blog readers,
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used are:
Stampin up:  Amber Autumn
Sweet N Sassy: Harvest Blessings

I really over complicated this sketch, trying
to get that middle piece, and just like a puzzle with
the last piece it came together.  all I needed to do
was glue the long rectangles in the corner together,
then interlock them.  easy peasy,  that's after many attemps
to get them to "weave, or layer" correctly.
Sometimes it takes me a while to do so something so simple.
This is the first of the next few days of Thanksgiving cards
in the making.  I'm excited to get about 10 or so done so I can
start my Christmas cards again.. I love making those.
Our memorial garden flag came, so hubby put it out-front.
May we all be as bold with confidence and courage in
Christ as Charlie Kirk was.
Who knew our pup's name would have even
more significance then just being born on
the 4th of July.  Below is a picture of our
little Patriot.  15 months old now.

The verse I chose for this card is:
Psalm 147:3KJV
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
