Dear blog readers, have you ever ordered a retired stamp
set purely because of the one sentiment? Well I did
the other day and here it is. I love that fun old song.
In fact when I was little it was the song I played for my
first piano recital. No I can't play the piano well, my mom
pulled me out of classes because she said i didn't practice enough.
I wish I had. I sometimes think I'd like to take up lessons now.
But I'm 54 and they are so expensive.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
I chose the first image to use for colors.
The stamp set I used is Stampin Up: Over the River
I used some lovely fall DSP it warmed the card right up,
then added a piece of ribbon to the side. I also used the
Stampin up, everyday arches dies and then just put it
horizontal for a different look and also so it would fit the cute little
bears and sled. I tried to stay as close to possible to the
colors in the challenge.
Below is my little pup " Patriot" he has some
soulful eyes, but he is a lot of work, quite the mischievous one.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 26:4 KJV
Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
