Dearest Blog Readers,
I LOVE how this card turned out. The way the
card holds itself open and draws the eye to the center.
I had to use paper clips to keep it closed just
because it's a bit creased from me using my bone-folder.
But nevertheless, it fits into a standard A2 envelope lovely.
This is the back of the card, the two white panels
are for writing, and I suppose the center could be
too, but I chose to put a verse there.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp set I used for this card is:
Stampin Up: Yuletide Village
The verse stamped image on the back of the
card is single stamp I purchased years ago.
I cut and glued all the DSP down first, this was
no small task, I had to get the ruler out many times
to make sure I had the correct measurements.
Then I stamped the church and trees, colored and
cut them all out. and placed them on the front panel.
I finished off the back panels with a couple little trees,
but was careful to leave room for writing.
Here is a picture looking down at
the card to see how it pulls out for standing.
Patriot was a pretty good pup today. Thank you
LORD. It was a much needed day of rest.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 52:8KJV
Isaiah 52:8KJV
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing:
for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.

Hi PJ, I love your card! A beautiful choice of image and verse, a gorgeous colour palette and super fancy folds. I tried to follow your blog but my blog just wouldn't play ball. Thanks so much for playing along with Leslie and me, and I hope to see you again at Christmas kickstart, Jo x
