Card #44 for 2024

Greetings crafting friends.
It's still a struggle here trying to get back into
the swing of stamping.  It's hit or miss.  Everything
seems like extra work lately, even things
that use to come so easily.
I will enter this card at the:
I used a lot of dies to make this
card, the stars, the ovals, and the silver
florals to make it look sparkly.
Both the sentiments are stamped, and
that's all the stamping I did.  I did have to
color in the one on the inside of the card because
it never stamps nicely.
The verse I chose for this card is
Galatians 5:13KJV
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty
for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Card #43 for 2024

Hello Crafting Friends.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are
Stampin Up:  Trusty tools & work of art
I thought this would make the perfect
masculine card in honor of my dad.  It
seems every summer when I was a kid he would
start painting. It would start with the picnic table,
then the swing, the garden hose holder,
and garbage can coral.  Everything got a fresh
coat of paint.  Always makes me smile.  I
think his intent was to finish off the gallon and
not have any leftover paint laying around.
This card was easy enough to make, I stamped
the paint samples, then the brushes.  I love how each
paint brush tip matches the color of the painted area.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Jeremiah 18:3KJV
Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold,
he wrought a work on the wheels.

Card #42 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
I'm going to admit right from the start
this card took 12 minutes and 41 seconds to make.
Hope that don't disqualify me.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are:
Botanical Layers, and Detailed dogwood
both are stampin up sets.
I stamped directly on the card stock
and colored in the dogwood and dragon fly.
The sentiment was the perfect font for this
lovely collaboration of images.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Psalm 100:4 KJV
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Card #41 for 2024

Hello crafting friends.
I took some crafting liberties with this sketch:
The stamp sets I used for this card are:
Stampin Up Best birds, From all of us,
and Bob Ross clear stamps
I had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve however,
instead of a sunrise/sunset in the horizon of the
sketch I chose trees, and I  chose two because that is how
many years for an up coming work anniversary.  Well once
i started stamping all those little critters, I just couldn't leave
any off the card. I was hoping the DSP would be sufficient
for the 3 different sections in the sketch.  I'm not too pleased
with the Bob Ross stamp set.  I love his art and thought it
would be fun to have, however, they don't stamp a nice
image and apparently I'm not that creative with it.  I think
someone that has expertise in shading colors would benefit
from this stamp set.  So it's going in the shop.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Colossians 3:23 KJV
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Card #40 for 2024

Hello Crafting friends.
You know I say crafting because I think for
the majority of people that are crafty, we
dabble in all sorts of artsy things, not just cards.
I made this card for my Grandma, bless her
heart she will be 101 on June 12th.  She's an
amazing woman and quite the inspiration to me.
My goal is to live to 102 and I do believe
my dear Grandma can do it.  I need to learn
her secrets to a long life.  With all that being
said it's not been an easy one.  Grandma
is a strong tiny little woman, she's had to
bury 2 husbands, and 4 adult children, one
being my ma.  Grandma has one remaining daughter
and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and
great great grandkids.  We love her dearly.
Grandma and Grandpa had a huge garden,
and as a kid I had the privilege of spending nearly
everyday there because they lived behind us/or
in front of us depending on which way you come from.
There was a well worn path between our homes,
I use to love to run through the gardens barefoot, we
had sandy soil where I grew up, so it was like a beach.
Not a weed to be found, grandpa sold his raspberries,
asparagus and rhubarb to people and the local grocery store.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used for this card are:
Stampin Up:  Sweet Strawberry, and deckled circle dies
Hand drawn Alphabet by Autumn Leaves clear stamps
The card was just simple stamping.  I think Grandma will
like the bright red colors and be able to see it better.  I used
some dimensionals under the two berries to raise them up
so you could see the third.  It was hard to decided if I wanted
a plain white background or this DSP, as you can see I chose
the DSP, hoping Grandma would like that best.

Below is my latest Etsy sale, it's always exciting for me
to see a sale in the shop.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 46:4KJV
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar(gray) hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
