Dearest Blog readers, Happy Saturday Evening.
Thanksgiving is later this year and yet here I am in
a panic that it's already this Thursday. I must get
things in order for the family.
I will enter this card in the challenges at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are:
Stampin Up: Hope & Peace,
Cross Stitched Christmas
I had a heck of a time lining up my cross stitched tree,
it is a combination of 3 stamps to create this tree. I thought it
would be perfect for the stitch challenge at Double Trouble.
I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts. After finally getting the
tree stamped, cutting it out was just as challenging. Then
when I layered it on the rectangle, there was too much red
card stock, so hence the sentiment banner.
Below are a few pictures of Patriot. He's
quite a busy puppy. He finally fell asleep on his
own on the floor by the heater. He loved the warmth,
just like his older brother Hunter did. IT was a welcome
break from this little hyper hound.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Isaiah 60:13KJV
The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree,
the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary;
and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
A wonderful Christmas card, love how you used the sketch, and such a wonderful picture of your little pup! Thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble!

ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation of the sketch. This is lovely. Thank you for sharing at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteYou did such a good job with this sketch especially using the tradition colors. I hate seeing a pink tree! Your little friend is growing so big. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such nice comments. Yes, Gina K's Master Layouts are dies which cut out different type of cards. I don't too many but I always struggle with cutting out slimline cards. Her ML for the mini slimline is #7 and I think the one for the regular slimline is #10. I'm glad you enjoyed your card!
