Card #23 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers, I do believe this card brings
the grand total of Valentines up to 20, so that will do for now.
I have to confess, I enjoy french fries, well anything
potatoes, in fact tonight I fried up potatoes to go
with our supper.  But my real problem is sugar, and
pizza.  Oh my goodness pizza any time ~any place.
Love it all styles, from deep dish to thin,  hot or cold.
You might say I have a Pizza problem.  haha
But the good ole American French fry is quite
scrumptious too.  And these little card just cracks
me up.  Drives the point home that no matter how
much we enjoy our food, family is first.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used for this card are:
Stampin Up
Friendly Seagulls
Country Bouquet
Sweet Conversations

I love how the playful DSP works with the
cute seagull, just seems cheeky.   Speaking of
cheeky, I included a picture of the little pup at the bottom.

I used the pebbles from the stamp set and then just
sponged over all of it to look like a sandy beach.
The seagull is popped up on dimensionals after
coloring and cutting it out.  The little square
features a heart and the fries.
Six months old, nearly 7 and still
a lot of attitude.  But at least today
he rested a bit in the craft room for me.
he was sick yesterday because I left him
for 2 hours for an eye appointment.
That was not good for his little anxiety issues.
The verse I chose for this card is:
John 14:21KJV
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:
and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father,
and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Card #22 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers,
I'm continuing with Valentine cards.  In fact
one more to go to make it 20  That should be enough for my
friends and family.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp set I used is:
Stampin Up
Bee My Valentine
I should have taken a picture of the honeycomb I
stamped in the corner.  I colored it all in, then
cut it out and it looked just terrible.  All that work for
nothing.  So reached over for some scrap papers
and came up with this little heart piece for the corner.
I think it works lovely with the sweet honey bee.
Here's Patriot on his post.  Always looking out
the windows.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Proverbs 16:24KJV
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Card #21 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers
Another Valentine card, I don't know who I will
be sending these all too, but I keep making them.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used are:
Stampin Up
Country Bouquet
Softly Said
I was a bit lazy in making this card.  You see, I had the  DSP
cut for a different card, but then it became a scrap piece.
The heart behind the sentiment was already cut out too.
So all I really had to do was stamp the sentiments and
the heart on the inside.   It's a bit busy, but it sends
a clear message to the receiver.  You are loved indeed.
Puppy has mastered the begging pose, and he knows
it makes us smile, so he does it frequently now.
One little sweet thing while I chase the goat
down from furniture and beds and such.
The verse I chose for this card is:
John 15:9KJV
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Card #20 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers,
This card I made for my husband.
Even though we both enjoy summer much more
than the cold long winter months of WI.  It
was perfect for the challenge:

The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:

SNOW

Something warm and cozy the way the die cut heart
embraces the snow couple.
I used a snow embossing folder, and die cut the heart,
then stamped the images, colored and then popped them
up with some dimensionals.  Waiting patiently for
my wink of stella pen to come in the mail.  It would
have been the perfect little sparkle on this card.
However, I did find my little red heart embellishments
and they worked just as nice, maybe even better.
My puppy was way over tired of being cooped
up in the stamp room with me, as I type this
he is giving my husband all kinds of trouble.
The little goat is constantly climbing and jumping
on things.  Bless his heart.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Gen. 2:18KJV
 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone;
I will make him an help meet for him.

Card #19 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers,
The challenge I'm entering this card in, is so dear to my "heart"
you see I really did start off the year telling myself a "crafting
resolution"  so this challenge is perfect.
Such a unique challenge.  I was thinking
I was the only one that had a crafting resolution.
  I LOVE stamping and
crafting, and this year I took inventory
of how few cards I made last year, so
this year my resolution is to make as many
cards as I can and also to add more to my etsy shop.
I also want to try and make it a habit to give my
older stamp sets some ink.
So take this card for example.
The stamp sets are older:
Stampin Up:
Strong of Heart
Heartfelt
Better Than E-Mail
It's so great that the thing I enjoy and also
made a New Year's Resolution about
falls into my Valentine theme.  So it was perfect
for keeping up with the "love cards"
Very basic stamping here, just clean and simple.
Apparently my puppy found it rather boring, as
he takes a nap in the stamp room.
The verse is Chose for this card is:
Psalm 20:4KJV
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
NIV
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.

Card #18 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers, I'm having quite the time
making everything about Valentine's Day, and using
my old stamps.  We have a system that is somewhat
working for me.  We purchased a babygate for the door way
of my little stamp room, so I can keep the puppy in
by me and that way keep a close watch on him.  In
fact as I type this he is finally sleeping.  After
jumping repeatedly on me, and playing, he has calmed
down for a few minutes.  Thank the Good LORD.
I will enter this card at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are:
Stampin up:
Meant to be
Heartfelt
Sharing sweet thoughts
Sweetheart Candy II

I'm not listing inks today,
because the candy hearts in the jar consisted
of multiple colors.
I didn't think layering the hearts would look very
nice.  In fact I have one other stamp set that I tried
to use, but it was not very good quality and I think
that's what the problem was.  So when I pulled out this
set, the jar was bigger and allowed more room for back
ground stamping.  I used light colors for that, and for the
conversation hearts I chose a darker color.  I die cut the red
heart and then used dimensionals to pop up the jar.
I thought the sentiment was perfect for the candy.  I added
a few embellishments and finished off the inside.
Here's a picture of Patriot pouncing on me as I try
to stamp this card.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Psalm 119:103KJV
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Card #17 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers, I stepped outside my
comfort zone in making this card.  Much like a
"junk journal"  I used up scraps and layered it
to make another Valentine card.
I'm also using this opportunity to give my older
stamps some love, by turning them into Valentine cards.
I will enter this card at:
The stamp sets used for this card are:
Stampin Up:
Country Bouquet
Meant to Be
Parisian Beauty
The inks:
Chocolate chip
Soft suede
Polished pink

I chose brown for a base thinking it would
give an aged look to the paper.  I wanted this
Valentine to feel nostalgic.  Like a place visited and
love bloomed, I so enjoy how in old movies they tie
their love notes and post cards with string so I added
a string to the side with a silver heart.  I ripped the edges
of my paper then sponged it to create interest. Then
the layers and stamping fun began.
This little fella has found his tail again, and
it's been all exciting the past two days.  My
goodness I forgot how much fun little 6 month
olds can have when left to entertain themselves.
Better his tail, then zipper pulls, socks and plants.
Just saying, this one has been a handful.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Proverbs 16:9KJV
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

Card #16 for 2025

Dearest Blog Readers, my goal is to have all my Valentine's
ready by the end of the month so they can all be mailed out
and arrive on time.  So I am having a blast with
challenges to turn them all into Valentine cards.
I will enter this card at:
The stamps I used in this card are:
Stampin up:
Heartfelt
Vintage Postcard
The inks:
Polished pink
berry burst
and black
I stamped the post card, and stamp down on the
white card stock then stamped the other images
on a seperate paper to be cut out and placed
in the desired location.  I layered the center heart
on top of the arrow and the added a little more
extra "love" to each heart center.
Patriot was giving me the sweet look because
he wanted a treat.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Luke 6:31KJV
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
