Dearest Blog Readers, I do hope you are
ending the weekend on a happy note of thankfulness.
I'm trying. But this pup of mine is frustrating me.
He is a jumper and each time I tried to stamp this
card, into my lap he decided to be. He's a 35 pounder
right now so it's no easy task and I'm covered in
blue marks. We are trying to practice staying down.
But it's not sinking in yet for this 6 month old.
I will enter this card at:
The stamp set I used in this card is:
Stampin Up: Light & Peace
I decided it needed a little gold accent paper along
the side to make the angle wings stand out.
This year I'm going to try and use my older
stamps more frequently. Through my years of
stamping I've stocked up quite a collection. And now
with the uncertainty of my husband's new job,
I'm not going to be purchasing much. So I am
grateful for all the supplies I have and look
forward to using some oldies but goldies. I might
even add a few to my etsy shop. I need to start
getting more serious with that dwindling little
shop of mine.
Here is the little card making culprit.
Patriot the pup.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Luke 2:10KJV
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Very pretty with the gold as a highlight. Thank you for playing at the AAA Card Challenges
ReplyDeleteA fab take on CAS and being able to fly. Your wee puppy looks like an angel and oh so innocent. I too love the gold strip. Glad you persevered and created your card.

Your card is so pretty! I love angel cards especially with the gold. I forgot to use my favorite one this year. Like you, too many to chose from. I'm trying to clean my supply out as well. Look at Patriot's eyes - he is so cute! Just want to be part of the action! He'll settle down soon!
