Dearest Blog Readers, I sound like a broken record.
(do kids today even know about record players?)
I know my kiddos do. The music just sounds so
authentic on them. Unless of course broken and on
repeat, or the needle skips. Well that is my life
lately, since Patriot Pup has joined the family
My gosh he's turned things upside down here.
The minute I think we are making progress, he
decides we have not, and the misbehaving begins.
Today I couldn't even just let him loose in the stamp room
with me I had to make sure he stayed with his
leash on by the door. Good grief. He needs to learn
his boundaries.
I will enter this card in
The stamp sets I used in this card are:
Stampin Up:
Sweet Conversations
Meant To Be
Country Bouquet
and the inks were as close as I could get to
the challenge with:
Smoky Slate
Basic Gray
Berry Burst
Pale Papaya
I used basic gray for the base of my card, then
stamped smoky slate hearts on the white. I used the
berry burst, and pale papaya on the big heart, and then die cut
it out. I placed it all down on top of a folded ribbon,
added a sentiment, and finished off the inside.
Here is a picture of Patriot pup in the craft room
He's not happy with me. He has those cute nickel
size eyes that show every expression his little
six month old self can't express.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Proverbs 10:12KJV
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping

The colours make up a great floral heart. The Basic Gray is warmer than black, so makes a nice contrast. Thanks for joining in with us again at As You See It. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty Valentine's Day card! Hard to believe we are going into February! I like how you did the center of the heart and the use of the ribbon. Patriot's eyes say - Look Mom I'm here, come play with me."
