Dearest Blog Readers,
The challenge I'm entering this card in, is so dear to my "heart"
you see I really did start off the year telling myself a "crafting
resolution" so this challenge is perfect.
Such a unique challenge. I was thinking
I was the only one that had a crafting resolution.
I LOVE stamping and
crafting, and this year I took inventory
of how few cards I made last year, so
this year my resolution is to make as many
cards as I can and also to add more to my etsy shop.
I also want to try and make it a habit to give my
older stamp sets some ink.
So take this card for example.
The stamp sets are older:
Stampin Up:
Strong of Heart
Heartfelt
Better Than E-Mail
It's so great that the thing I enjoy and also
made a New Year's Resolution about
falls into my Valentine theme. So it was perfect
for keeping up with the "love cards"
Very basic stamping here, just clean and simple.
Apparently my puppy found it rather boring, as
he takes a nap in the stamp room.
The verse is Chose for this card is:
Psalm 20:4KJV
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
NIV
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
and make all your plans succeed.

Perfect, PJ! Giving my old stamps some love is a favorite of mine, and that's a great resolution, too! Such a sweet combo of stamps on this one! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
ReplyDeletePJ, it's nice to see you back with us at As You See It. I hope to see you regularly this year, with that resolution of more card making! Love this one - that beautiful strong heart with just a sliver of patterned paper to bring out the colours - perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat’s such a wonderful resolution! Using older stamp sets gives them new life, and I love that you're focusing on creating more this year. Excited to see all the beautiful cards you’ll make.

I like the way you keep everything simple and straightforward! Stamp as much as you can, and make a valentine with a single (although very artsy) heart! This card gives a very clear message! Thanks for filling in the blank for us at As You See It Challenges!
ReplyDeleteMake more cards - Amen to that PJ! Love the bold red heart on this one - always good to give old sets some love too. Thanks for sharing with us over at As You See It this week!
