Dearest blog readers, Happy May Day🎕
I'm always sad that May Day seems like a lost
tradition, so I like to remember and share it.
I will enter this spring card in the challenge at:
The thoughtful bloom stamp set came with a punch
so that was easy enough for the blooms. I used some
old nail art flowers for added embellishments. They are raised up quite a bit.
I used dimensionals for the whole back of this card
so the flowers could nest inside a bit more. I probably
still won't be able to mail this one without extreme extra postage
and care to the envelope.
I thought I'd share a few pictures of May
Day in the yard.
and of course the little Pup. Patriot is
still in recovery mode. Trying to keep
him off the incisions, has turned into a full time
job, as he is quite determined to get at them.
He's still on medicine, and today he threw up
a considerable amount, so I think his little tummy
is over all the pills. I am too for him.
Hope you all have a blessed evening.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Song of Solomon 2:12 NKJV
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

I love the soft color and gentle curve of the flowers. A beautiful CAS card, PJ! Thank you for joining the challenge at Atlantic Hearts.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love this! The font in that sentiment is just beautiful and your little flowers complement it perfectly! I fondly remember May days of my youth, and yes, they've gone the wayside! Thanks for using our sketch at Atlantic Hearts this week!
