Dear blog readers, I took a different approach with the
challenge today. I used my brick embossing folder, and
then I sponged gray in the pattern of the sketch at
The stamp sets I used for this card are:
Stampin up:
Mediterranean Moments
Forever Grapevine
I thought the cute little out door dining area would work
perfect against the backdrop of a brick wall with vines.
I always imagine it will be a peaceful cobblestone
street where you could sip a nice ice tea and take in
a good book or the gorgeous scenery.
Speaking of gorgeous, here is a lovely peony bloom
from my garden.
Our little Patriot pup is doing his begging.
Today would have been Hunter's 14th birthday,
we miss him everyday, but so grateful to have another
springer to love.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Proverbs 16:24 NKJV
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

I must say that both of your submissions for the challenge are wonderful! I'm particularly impressed with your background on this card. You did a wonderful job inking up evenly placed bricks, of varying sizes. Well done!
