Dear blog readers, I thought I better make a Father's
day card or it will be here before I know it, and no card.
My dad's birthday is Flag Day (14th) so Father's day
always sneaks up on me. wink
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp set I used is, stampin up
Trusty tools.
I pretended it was a Bob Ross painting.
So I brushed the paint (ink) on one side
stamped the brushes dipped in matching ink, cut
them out and pop them up a bit, then I
used the DSP as the art. Like pulling
back a curtain to reveal the masterpiece.
Patriot pup loves to rest his chops on the shelves
in our pillars.. It's his drive up window for treats.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Proverbs 23:24 NKJV
The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.
And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.
đ
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping

Patty, this is such a clever design with the "paint" and the accompanying brushes. Your father will have a double celebration on the 14th with Father's Day and his birthday, and no doubt he'll love this card! Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteVery clever, with the paint and brushes like this. I love these brushes and don't think I'll part with mine. I like the way you've repeated the idea on the inside too. Thanks for joining up with us again at The Paper Players. :-)
ReplyDeletePJ, very clever! And, I can see Bob Ross's influence! I love that you carried the painting through to the inside, too. Those paint brushes are fabulous and adding the paint to the tips was such a great way to continue the theme. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week
