MOJO483~Birthday in Purple

First, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to HSS for choosing my Valentine Card as an Artist pick.   It's so exciting to add their badge to my blog.

Now onto the card for today.  I was inspired again by the sketch challenge at: Mojo Monday and this time I stuck to the design as closely as possible.

My last post/entry I went a bit abstract I suppose if that's what you want to call it, I challenged the challenge.. lol~ you can see that at: Summer Day or just scroll down my blog.    Now for this card,
I used stampin up stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge, and Mixed Bunch sets.  I also used the coordinating punch  for the bunch (haha) set.  I embossed the background with a pretty petal design and used my Happy Birthday die from Lawn Fawn, I cut it down so it would fit there, and left off the "to you" part.  It's a Great die.   I then added some sparkle twine to spruce it up a bit and match the center brad.  I just got my butterfly punch, so of course excitement took over and  I had to add that to the card too, with a little pearl.. NO it's not real, but it does look nice, eh?   So there you have it.  I would love to know which card you like better.
Also wanted to post a picture of my little guy.  He cracks me up.  Even though he has a toy line up behind him, he's got that sweet little look on his face as if to say..but I want you to play with me.   Don't look at the carpet.. To which I'm sure all eyes are now gazed upon.. well be warned, there is a nice layer of fur that has taken up residence there.  I could vacuum it 4x a day and still not make much progress.   Good thing we have such a small home.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog.  I sure do appreciate the love and support.  Please sign up to follow my blog.  That would make this gal super happy.

MOJO483~Summer Day

The sun is shining and it's a bit warmer out today.  The last I checked it was 23 degrees, so  even though it's not the hot humid weather that I enjoy I decided to  make a card in reflection of a nice summer day.  I used the awesome sketch challenge at: Mojo Monday for inspiration in the card layout.

The stamps I used today were from Lawn Fawn, Let's Play.  Indeed that's what the little critters are doing here on my card.  If you look closely you will see the sketch in my card.  I had to add the flowers at the base,  this is not what I had intended originally, but  silly me, I had a few inky finger marks on the bottom, so I had to cover that up.    I wanted to post both pictures, because one shows the clouds much better then the other, and you can see the depth of the images.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

CCT#03~Cup of Cocoa

Hello friends.  You know  I usually make my SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) post today, however, I just came across a  challenge and I knew I wanted to play along, because I love making Christmas cards.   This is an awesome drink challenge at: Christmas Card Throwdown.  I thought I'd celebrate my Holly Jolly Christmas sentiment with a cup of cocoa.  decorated for the season of  peace and good cheer.  Did you notice the tiny brads in one of my holly berries?  What do you think of the triple color twine?  I also used a rustic little Christmas tree clothes pin to hold my card today.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.  I'd love it if you would sign up to follow me, and share my blog on facebook, pinterest, or google+  with the little buttons below.  Thanks ever so much in helping me get a few more followers.  That make this gal so happy.😊

MM #233 {The Magic # is 5!} ~Stitches

Making this card
was a lovely change of pace.  I've been working on so many Valentines that I needed a new direction, at least for today, and what better way then to pop over to Merry Monday  I love making Christmas cards.   I used my older stampin up  stitched stockings set and punch along with the new   stitched with cheer.  Which of course I laughed to myself because, well it had me in "stitches"  haha..  I seriously didn't plan it that way,  I just liked the sentiment and thought it went well with the stockings.   What do you think of it?
Thanks so much for visiting my blog.  Remember to share on Facebook, pinterest or google+  I sure do appreciate it.

Bright Birthday Wishes

Well, It's Friday evening and I posted on my blog earlier this afternoon, but wanted to pop in with one more card before the day is done.  I made this as a Birthday card.   I like how bright and bold it is, just makes me think spring, and boy do I want spring to get here.   I added some sparkly twine behind the flowers with a bit of washi tape too.  The blue is actually two circles that I planned on sticking behind the flowers but it just didn't look so great, so I cut them in half and scattered them on the edges of the card.  I think it turned out pretty well.  Sometimes my mistakes turn out.
So that's always fun when that happens.

RRCB55 Cross My Heart

So even though my last post was all the Valentine's cards (about 10) I had made so far, I knew I would have to make at least one or two more for the Cross My Heart💗challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog
This card today uses the 2002 Delightful Doodles heart from Stampin Up,  I embossed the background and used a "love"ly die to which I added little droplets of pearl paint to make it pop.  I also highlighted the stamped heart with the same pearl drops.

I wanted to share with you the pictures I took of the visitor  that stops by the side yard.  He has been coming to our place off and on for years now, and I finally got a picture of the big beauty.    We live next to a snowmobile junk yard so it's prime real estate for him to find his prey.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, it would be so helpful and much appreciated if you would share my blog on facebook, pinterest or google+ by using the buttons below.

Valentine's Day

Oh boy, I'm so excited I have another follower. Thank you so much for signing up.  That makes my  day.   I do a little happy dance each time, which entails me getting up off my chair and stumbling through our 900 square foot house to find hubby to tell him the grand news.
I have been busy stamping away, making Valentine Day cards, so I figured I'd post them all at once so I can quickly get them in the mail📫 this week.  I mixed some older stamps with new, and most are from stampin up.  I also used washi tape on a few.  I posted each card by it'self too so you can take a closer look.  Which one is your favorite?
