CTS #240~Work of Art Autumn

Can you believe this is the 8th card  I have made for today?  Well perhaps you can believe it.  Since that's what the majority of my time is spent doing.  I can't show the other cards yet though, I really want to.  You'll have to wait until the end of October to see them.    This card I made by following the amazing design at: Case This Sketch

I stuck with a fall theme here and used three different stamp sets.
1~Close to my Heart: Many Thanks
2~Stampin UP: Work of Art
3~Stampin UP: Season by Season (2005)~oldie but goldie.
I think it turned out pretty nice.  They all worked together lovely.

Image may contain: plant and outdoorWell I have to share a picture of this crazy little squirrel resting on the fence post with his chin propped up.  Such a silly fella, today he was chasing birds in the yard. He'd scare them away and then jump and roll where they were resting on the grass.   I think he thinks he is a dog.
Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you will take a moment and click that blue button in the left column to follow my blog.  That would be awesome.  Plus you don't want to miss those fabulous 7 cards I'll be showing at the end of October. πŸ˜‰

RRCB71 & Sketch #230

Goodness gracious!  I am on overload joy mode.   I have you all to thank for that.  What a wonderful surprise to have gained the trust of a few more followers.  Image result for thank you minion
Also, it is extra special because it's my son's 24th birthdayπŸŽ‚  today.  I posted a few days back the card I made for him and an amazing photo of him.  You can see it here Xavier's Birthday Card/photo.
Well now I will try and keep this short and sweet, because I'm not
sure when the kiddos will roll in. This is a card I made for the challenges at:
I used a stampin up set from 1998 but I'm not sure the name.  I bought it at a consignment shop and there are only two stamps in it.  I used my markers to color it in and then cut it out.  I didn't follow the sketch exactly because I ended up putting my sentiment on the strip that goes across the card instead of on top.  The moose is a punch that I punched multiple times and then glued them on top of each other to give it some dimension. I think it worked lovely.
Of course true to myself after the picture was taken, I thought DRATS!  I should of used my clear wink of stella on the water to give it that "sparkly" look.  Next time.πŸ˜‰
I also added a few pictures of my hound.  I had a lovely comment in regards to his picture on the side.  Yes Hunter (HP) is a pure bred English Springer Spaniel.  He is 6 years old and the sweetest hyper hound you ever did see.  I should share more pictures of him.  He's got the funniest personality with a hint of sass.   He loves to watch the yard for squirrels, birds, hawks, ground hogs, eagles, turtles, mice.. you name it we have it here.. hence the pictures I share frequently.. Perks of living next to a junk yard. haha.  Any ways HP is a sweetheart.
Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you feel inspired to look around my blog at the other cards, projects and pictures.  I  sure do appreciate the love and support, so if you're willing please don't forget to push that blue follow button on the left hand side.

Easy as 1, 2, 3 Card Challenge ~ Falling

Up first, BIG NEWS... I have one more follower.
Image result for minion thank you
That MADE my day πŸ’›
Now for the card I made for the Cards In Envy Challenge (easy as 1, 2, 3)   I thought how appropriate I  would use 3 leaves, and then place  them facing down in a "falling" sort of way which tied into the sentiment.  The stamp set is from Close to my heart>Many Thanks.  I've used this one quite a bit recently.  I like the whimsical leaves.  I think they stamp well and look delightful.  If you take a look around my blog you will see a few different ways I've used them, and also see my other projects and pictures.  I'd really appreciate it if you would click that blue button in the left hand column to follow my blog.
Thank you so much.

HSS Inspiration Challenge #272 & PP362

Here is the card I made this morning for the challenges at:
I thought they worked well together.  As did all three stamp sets that I used.   First up I used the Perk Up from a.muse studio.  I'm not a coffee drinker so I pretend it's hot chocolate.  I've been trying hot tea, but all I do is frown when I drink it, so I'm thinking that is not good for the wrinkles on my forehead.  Perhaps I just don't like warm drinks. haha.. oh my silly life.. next stamp set is from, close to my heart, Many thanks and that was the leaves and the sentiment.  For the sweet steam I used my favorite Scentsational Season from stampin up.  Love this cute little retired set.  Any ways I had to do some fussy cutting as usual, so my eyes are a bit blurry for Bible study time now, but I'm hoping they clear up.
I've also included a picture of a blue jay that was visiting my yard.  I think they are spectacular in color and the way this one is perched on the fence it looks like he is wearing earmuffs.  πŸ˜Š
Thank you so much for stopping by.  Hope you will take a moment and look around at my other cards, projects and pictures.   Please don't hesitate to click that ever intimidating blue follow button on the left hand side.  That would make my day.
Thank YOU.

Addicted to CAS Challenge #120 - Florals

Hi Folks.  Card number 3 today goes to Addicted To CAS challenge Blog

I am really enjoying the practice of leaving white space on the card.  Today we are challenged to use flowers and I thought I'd take a chance with it in "fall fashion"  being I chose festive fall colors, oranges, yellows, and a soft green.  And once again, for such a simple card I went through many trial and errors.  My gosh I must be an unusually messy stamper, every time I was almost done, a smudge, an ink spot, a wrinkled side or perhaps my cutter blade needs replacement.  Goodness gracious! So about round 8 I finally got a nice clean take on it.
I appreciate you stopping by.  I hope you will take a moment and look around at my cards, projects and pictures.  I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog.
Thank you.

CCC #21~Scentsational Season Christmas

Card number 2 today I made for the Christmas Card Challenge Blog
The closest stamp set I could find in my stash that somewhat resembled cookies was my stampin up Scentsational Season.  I thought the images looked like lovely little cut outs. Which is exactly what I did using the matching dies.. I actually cut a couple of each one to add some extra demension to the card.  I then found the ric rack ribbon to "tie" it all together.  I think it matches the gingerbread man's icing lovely.
Thank you so much for stopping in to say hello.
Hope you will take a moment to look around my blog, and perhaps follow me.

CAS Game #99 - Autumn Colours & SCS

Well today I will be posting a few times.    So please come back to check out my other cards too.  Up first is the card I made this morning for the challenge at: AAA Cards

We are suppose to use autumn colors, so I stuck with brown and gold.  It was actually yellow and orange but after a bit of water coloring it turned into gold.. so I just went with it.
I thought the verse worked lovely for a sentiment, plus it doubles as my SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) post which I like to try and stick to.
Goodness the designers are so talented at keeping that white space while making their cards look spectacular.. You must check it out.
Thank you all so much for stopping by.
I hope you will take a moment and look around at a few of my latest cards, projects and pictures.  I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog.
