#GDP146~Adventure

Well wouldn't ya just know this would happen~ I'm trying to clean out a bit of my supplies to sell in my Etsy Shop, and I come across this lovely little clear set  that I purchased from Michael's.   Now the big question.. Do I keep it or do I sell it?  So the only next logical thought was to find a challenge to play along with and try to see if I could get this stamp set to work with the sketch.  Well imagine my surprise (not really since I have such a hard time parting with stamps) when I fell in love with this cute little set again.   I will submit my card to the challenge at:
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  I hope you will take a look around at my other cards, projects and pictures.

Also I will be adding a few stamps to my etsy shop later today.  I actually did find a few things to sell.  SHOCKED?  me too.😉

Ch# 26~ Painter's Palette, Stampin Up, Fintastic Friends, Lawn Fawn

Well folks, here is the third card I made for today.  This one was inspired by my daughter's amazing nail art.  She did an absolutely "fintastic" job painting them.  I'm sharing a picture so you can take a look for yourself.

Image may contain: one or more people, text and closeupImage may contain: one or more people and closeup
So as you can see I wanted to make her a card to let her know what an awesome job she did.
I used Stampin Up's Painter's Palette
and Lawn Fawn's Fintastic Friends.
After some coloring and cutting I added a bit of glossy accents to finish it off and give it a real water like appearance in the fish bowl.
I'm going to submit my card to the challenge at:
Challenge:  Any Animal on your project

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
I'm looking forward to reading your comments.

CAS Game #119 - Christmas in July. Llama

Here is the second card that I made for today.  This one is for the challenge at: AAA Cards
I used the sweet little Llama stamp that my daughter bought for me from Michael's.  I get such a kick out of it, because she also bought me a mama llama journal.  I love it because you see she has an endearing sweet name for me.  she calls me mamala.  I LOVE IT. 💗
I hope you can see the bit of wink of stella glitter that I added to the trim of the Santa hat.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
I hope you will take a look around at my other cards, projects and pictures.

In my next post I'll be sharing a picture of my daughter's nail art. It's fabulous and you won't want to miss it.

July Sketch Challenge, Snowflake Sentiments, Stampin Up, Penny Black Mimi's Christmas

Up first today is this card I made for the challenge at:
I used the Penny Black, Mimi's Christmas set to make this card.  I think she is adorable.    I also used Stampin Up's Snowflake sentiments for the inside.  I did a lot of coloring with the images and then used a circle die to cut them out. I layered them on some red to give them a bit of pop.  The cute little tag on the front is blank until I decide who will receive this card for Christmas this year.  I  finished the card off with a pair of tiny jingle bells and a green button brad.  Which now has me singing the 12 days of Christmas in my head (revised) must be the counting down ♪ 2 tiny jingle bells, and one greeeeeen brad♪  haha..   oh the things I do to amuse myself.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

* Please note this really is not a tag, it is a standard A2 card with a little tag added on the bottom.  However, if it's considered a tag by the guidelines.. I understand this card might be disqualified.
It's ok.  No hard feelings. 😊

SSC182 SKETCH Waterfront, Stampin Up

I think my inner conscience took over with this card today.  Perhaps I'm longing for an inner peace or perhaps I'm watching to many Bob Ross videos. (which by the way I love)  But whatever the case when I saw the awesome sketch challenge at
I knew I wanted to play along.  I also wanted to switch things up a bit and make a very serene scene. (that's fun to say)  So I used my stampin up Waterfront set, along with a cut log cabin from repeat impressions and the verse is one I've had on hand for many year, I thought it to be quite fitting for my SCS Post.   I hope that when you look at my card you can see the sketch in it.  The sun setting behind the mountain is the top right hand flower petals.. I chose to have the sun only partially showing.  The big center flower is my cabin in the wilderness.  I surrounded it with a few pines and a stream of fresh water, as it is nestled in the valley of the mountains.  The last little flower in the lower right hand corner is my island of pine trees.  I hope you can see the image clearly, and that I tried to incorporate all the details.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

I hope you will take a moment to look around at my other cards, projects and pictures.  I'd love to hear from you in the comment section.  Also I would appreciate it if you would follow my blog. That would make my day.

FMS344~Hello Friend, Garden in Bloom, Stampin Up

I am a very restless kind of person, perhaps it's the ADHD.. or something, but I have a hard time with processing my time and emotions, so this week has been a challenge since hubby has been off.  YIKES.. everything I wanted to accomplish didn't really happen.  You see I have a list but I'm not able to do the things I once did, and well it's a lot for one person to do alone, so I guess I set my expectations a bit to high.  Needless to say I've been extremely crabby to live with because of this.  So I got myself busy by stamping this here card that I will submit to the challenge at:
I also thought I'd try my hand at painting rocks.  Apparently that's all the rage to hide them around town.  So we will see what happens.  I thought I'd share a picture of those here too.  I have a hard time waiting  for the paint to dry, before writing on them.
The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up~ Hello Friend
Stampin Up~ Garden in Bloom
I am pretty pleased with this square card, even though I had to consult with youtube to figure out the dimensions of a square card, my first attempt was not so good.  UGH.. I'm embarrassed to say I wanted the 5 inch square, however I went about it all wrong, and I'm so thankful for stampers who know what they're doing and giving dimensions.
I added a few little embellishments to the flowers, and I added a bit of washi tape to give it a more finished look around the edges that I masked off to stamp the flowers.   I really like the vibrant orange colors and the cute little bee made my day.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Challenge 65 Work Of Art Stampin Up .. Patriotic

I wanted to make one more 4th of July card.  Especially since I have this fabulous star washi tape.  I found a great challenge to play along with at: Always Fun Challenges where the  theme is: "Patriotic"
So I pulled out my stampin up set called Work of art and stamped the red stripes, I then added the star washi tape.   I also had a bit of star spangled ribbon.  So I thought it would be lovely to add in between the sentiment, which just happened to be part of the same stamp which was from the flag on the inside of the card.  I just cut it apart after I stamped the image.  I think it turned out cute.
I even got creative and tried to take a picture of my card next to the flowers that my hubby got me a couple weeks ago.  They are so sweet and have really stood the test of time here.

We are now going to fight the mosquitoes outside and try to enjoy a lovely campfire and make smores.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.

I also just wanted to say how much I enjoy receiving my comment notifications back in my email inbox.  That is so awesome.💛
