Card #55 for 2024

Dearest Blog readers, I hope you are having a
blessed Sunday.
Today, my dear grandma went to be with the Lord.
She was 101.  She had a full life indeed.  I am
so blessed because we lived behind her growing up,
which meant that I was at grandma and grandpa's
practically every day of my childhood. I know people
can't live forever, but what a pillar of our family.
We are shaken but we are strong.
Congratulation's on the 600th sketch.  Such
a phenomenal challenge.  I always enjoy playing
along, and look forward to what the team comes up with.
Thank you for being an amazing place to share our
love for crafting.
So I will enter this card in the the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used are stamping up:
Everything Festive
Welcoming woods
Beary cute.
I stamped the woods with a light gray, then the snowflakes
with a much darker gray, then I found some lovely DSP and
stamped the sentiment which I also embossed in white. I was going
to add a snowman, so I stamped and colored two different size snowmen,
to which my husband said, just leave them off, so I did, and I think
that was a great call, it looks much more uncluttered this way.
Here's a couple pictures of Patriot.  He is growing so
fast and we can no longer keep him in the crib,
he's too big.  He's lost a few of his baby teeth already.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Gen 8:22 KJV
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest,
and cold and heat, and summer and winter,
and day and night shall not cease
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Card #54 for 2024

Dearest blog readers, I hope you are having
a fantastic Saturday.  Our weather here in WI.
is exceptional nice for this time of the year.
I think God is giving us some extra time to
try and get things done.  Especially since puppy keeps
us so very busy.
I will enter this card in at the:
I used the following stampin up products:
Halloween memories
cauldron bubble
spooky sweets
bewitching
It got a little busy with the DSP, but I think
the die cut leaves toned it down instead of
stamping them.
The way the witches
boots are under the sentiment reminds me
of the Wizard of Oz when the house fell
on the wicked witch.
Patriot was practicing catching his ball.
He has a hard time with his eyes and focus.
He has a slow eye that don't follow well,
but the little fella is doing the best he can.
He's grown so much in the 8 weeks we've
had him, I'm afraid he won't be able to
stay in his crib much longer.
The verse I chose for this card is:
3 John 11KJV
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Card #53 for 2024

Good Evening crafting friends.  Time for
me to get busy with Halloween cards.  I noticed
today being the 13 in reverse would be the 31st.
and that means it will be here before I know it.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamps I used for this project are stampin up:
Best witches
Halloween Memories
It was a little nerve wracking coloring in this
little witch.  But it all worked out. I like the sentiment
broke up~ so as you have to open the card to see the rest.
Thought I'd share a picture of the little fella
sleeping.  He is all throttle when awake. So naps are
a HUGE blessing.
The verse I chose for this card is:
3 John 11 KJV
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Card #52 For 2024

Hello crafting friends.

I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used in this card are
from Stampin Up:
Caring Leaves
Pick of the Patch
I had a hard time keeping things straight today,
my stamp desk is such a mess and things feel
so unorganized but nevertheless I needed to make
a card.  Like really needed to just decompress from
all this blasted stress here.  So between my eye sight and
dizziness I was determined to get it done  Hubby was
babysiting the little fella.
Not sure if I introduced the new fella yet,
but here he is.  Patriot.  Born July 4th.
He's been a challenge for me.  My heart
still hurts and the tears fall almost every day
over my beloved Hunter (HP)  But Patriot is
here to stay.  So we welcome the little hyper hound
to the family.  He has much energy.
He spends a fair amount of time in
the old day care crib I had on hand.
Not much can get done here now besides,
house training and manner training this little one.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Galatians 6:9KJV
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due
season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
