Dearest Blog readers,
Here we are at the start of another week.
I'm feeling overwhelmed with it already.
So stamping to the rescue.
I will enter this card is the challenge at:
Stamp sets:
Stampin Up: Inspiring Iris, Storybook Life
Ink: Granny apple green, Bumblebee
It would surely amaze you how many times I stamped this
card to get it just the right way. The iris stamp set is a
two step stamp, however each time I stamped it I felt
the black ink was too dark. So I chose to omit the outline and
just stamp the water colored images, and it gave it a much
softer look. Even stamping the sentiment in green instead
of black just made the card come together so nicely. More
light and springy as it should be.
I had to restrain myself from adding any embellishments,
or other images. Although I do think a tiny butterfly
stamp would have been lovely.
Here is a picture of Patriot, he was awfully naughty
last night with our company biting and jumping and
wild as all get up. So he had to go in his kennel for
awhile to calm down. Please know he doesn't leave
teeth marks or such, he's just very mouthy. SO
today he's been quiet and trying to get use to playing
and using his paws. He has a few handicaps, and his
paws are one issue we are working out with him.
The verse I chose for this card is:
Psalm 104:10KJV
He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

Your card sounds absolutely lovely! The choice to omit the outline for a softer look was a great idea—perfect for a light and springy feel. Can't wait to see more of your creations.
