Card #41 for 2025

Dearest blog readers, I went through quite
the process in making this card.  I added
a few extra pictures below so you can see what
I'm talking about.
I will enter this card in the challenge at:
The stamp sets I used are:
Stampin Up:  Timeless tulips, bokeh dots, latte love
Inks: bumblebee, granny apple green, melon mambo
I first want to point out that you might have noticed
the faint lines behind the cup of flowers.   You
see I can't seem to stamp my bokeh stamp without
getting the edges, so I just gave up and left them.
I then embossed the 3 lines on the left-hand side
using my paper trimmer.  I stamped a larger tulip
multiple times on the right-side,   and then proceeded
stamping the little cup, tulips and leaves.   A lot of fussy
cutting and then I even made more work for myself, because
I thought I'd try a few different cup colors on DSP as
you can see below.
I even thought I'd get fancy and try to use a little
paint and fill in the lines, that looked awful.  So
back to basics.  I don't know why I just keep adding
things when sometimes less is more.
Here's a picture of Patriot pup with his
paws up, looking for a treat.
The verse I chose for today's card is:
Isaiah 40:8 KJV
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
