Well I did my best to work with the colors at: Paper Craft Crew Challenge we are to use: Reddish Pink, Pale Yellow, Coral, and Deep Blue. and it was quite the challenge for me. I always struggle with colors that I'm not use to combining but it helps a gal think outside the box.. or color wheel for this instance. Then I think to myself if I had every ink color known to stampin' up.. I'd be a successful artist. Haha.. like my water coloring this bird here.. I think I'm a Picasso and then before I know it the paper is soaked and it shreds and looks like something an elementary student would color, well it goes with the cutting here too I suppose, since I don't buy the framelits.. (trying to save a buck) I have to fussy cut them out.. so my lines aren't straight here either, needless to say.. I LOVE stamping so it's all in good fun. Insert big smile here.
I sure do appreciate you stopping by my humble little blog, I'd love to be friends. So please leave a message and sign up to follow and I can return the favor. Take a browse around my blog to see my other projects I've been working on.
Keep Smiling 😊 Keep Stamping
PJ, I love the embossed stripes on your background! Your bird is colored beautifully and you did an awesome job on the fussy cutting! Thanks so much for joining Paper Craft Crew this week for our color challenge! Blessings, Tina DT
ReplyDeleteBoy, you cut this out so well! When watercoloring I use special paper. That should eliminate any shredding! I think your bird looks very happy!!
