This is a card I made for the sketch challenge at:The Paper Players Blog
I used a stampin up embossing folder for the background. The elephant is a single stamp from the dollar bins at Michael's. The sentiment is from stampin up. I fussy cut out the elephant and umbrella after I colored it. I then dabbed on some clear wink of stella to the image to give it some sparkle. I added a few enamel embellishments to tie it all together.
I also am tacking on a few pictures of the Hawk that visits my yard frequently. He enjoys the hunt here, being we live next to a snowmobile junk yard, there is plenty of mice, rabbits etc. This time I think he got a bird, it was heartbreaking but nothing I could do 😔.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the pictures and the card.
Keep Smiling 😊 Keep Stamping
So cute! I love that fun image and the embossing. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card. I love all your cards with citters under the umbrella dancing in the rain! My daughter just sent me a picture of Jennifer in boots, raincoat and umbrella splashing in th puddles - remember when!
ReplyDeleteI love this cute card! Great choice of paper and adorable image. Thank you for sharing your card at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeletePJ, fabulous photos of your hawk. Looks like an immature Cooper's Hawk. We have one that visits our garden and he's learned to chase the little birds into a window to stun them. Luckily we put on screens and he's not quite as successful now :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the sketch, the heart embossed base layer is perfect with your little elephant and sentiment. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week
