RRCB82~Flashy Floral Stampin UP

Well Folks, I thought I'd give the tic tac toe Challenge at: Retro Rubber Challenge Blog  another try.  This time I  chose the top row across.
I pulled out my stampin up 1996 Flashy floral set that I'm not really fond of.  Ya know it got me thinking of how we stamp what we love and that shines through.  I have tried over the years to work with this set, but it's just one of those that I can't seem to master.  No matter what I do.  But nevertheless I don't want to get rid of it, just in case someday there is a "stamp breakthrough"  and I actually make something beautiful with it.  any ways my friends there it is  my very pink thank you with a hit of embossing on the side.
A quick question.. Is anyone else experiencing log in and Log out problems with blogger?  If so do you know how to fix it?   It's always something with me and this blogger.  GRRRR.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping

  1. You really nailed it with this one, too! That's a fun floral set, and I love that vertical sentiment! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!

  2. I've never seen this stamp set before, PJ - it's long before I'd even heard of stamping! But it doesn't look to me as though you've struggled with it. I like the way you've done the sentiment too. I do agree with you that it's hard to stamp with things you don't love though - and sometimes we just don't love them as much when when they're in our hands as we did when they were in the catalogue, do we? Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber again.

  3. I love this set, but like you I struggle with it. Seems like you have mastered it here though! I love the soft watercolour feel of your card, another great entry for Retro Rubber, thanks. Claire DT

  4. I think this is very pretty, even if you're not feelin' the love for this stamp! It is certainly bright and springy, and I need that today! Thanks for playing with our Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!

  5. This is the DAY! You made a beautiful card with this set! If you are unhappy with it, then it's time to let it find a new home. Don't hold onto the ones you don't absolutely love. Your springy card is wonderful and you totally nailed this challenge! Thank you for playing with us at Retro Rubber! We love seeing your cards in our gallery.

  6. Well, I do like your fresh and beautiful card, the shades of pink are lovely and we totally need some Spring colors right about now!!
I hear you when it comes to stamp sets we buy and they, we kind of loose interest in them. If you really don't get that desire to work with them, it's better to let them go, you might be surprised how many people might be looking for this partiular set, believe me, I've found some of my most cherished sets on Ebay or from stampers who sell their stuff on their blogs.
Anywho, thank you for playing along with us at RETRO RUBBER, hope you play again soon.
    Hugs.
