It's just one of those days where the card making did NOT come easily. I had the loveliest vision of what I wanted my card to be, and this my friends is not it. But Nevertheless I'm going to enter it in the challenge at:
I was thinking Spring and wanted to use my cute little moose with a window box of flowers, well apparently I don't know how to color with the few copic markers I have, they seem to pull out the black ink that I used to stamp my image. So I chose my Stampin up markers, colored pencils and went with a bigger picture to color, at least I still have the cute moose in it. However, I worked on the background for so long with the patterned paper that I didn't want to switch that out too. So I just incorporated the green with the cafe canopy, cup and travel mug.
It's an interesting little card to say the least, but I have a dear friend out in WA that might just appreciate this card, she loves her coffee. Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
How cute! Love the little moose with his cup of coffee. Great take on the sketch! Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps, hope to see you again soon!
ReplyDeleteOh I've been there and can share your pain - when it just isn't quite what you were hoping for - but for us its lovely. What a great sentiment on that stamp - where is it from?
ReplyDeleteI love that you featured the moose - he's adorable! I totally get what you're saying about the creative struggle, too - I've been on a streak myself the last few days - I think my mind's eye needs to take a back seat for a bit, lol. Love this lime-y green - glad you stuck with it! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
