Well I tried for the first time today to make a card using the "black magic" technique. Of course it turned out like all my other pinterest try outs. Nothing to exciting and fabulous. I should make a board on my personal pinterest page with real pictures on how I failed at it. BUT.. I am going to keep trying because I think it could be sweet. Just need to find the right set to work with, and by golly I found a video that uses one of the sets I have on hand. Yippee❕
For today's card I used washi tape and embossed the background with leaves. I also used a single stamp for the daisy and dandelions and after stamping it in white, I colored in the daisy with water color pencils and then highlighted it with my white gel pen. I stamped the little bee(from a lawnfawn set) on black paper so I just had to color in the yellow stripes. I suppose it's not to shabby for my first try.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.
I think this turned out lovely! I love the colors and the striking white of the flower. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Your white flower really pops. I like the way you did the inside too. Thanks for playing along with us again this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm not sure what the "black magic" technique is, but I like your card! It is lovely.
