SSC196 SKETCH FUN~ A Brand New Year, Stampin Up

I found the stamp❕  I came across this lovely stampin up stamp while visiting a blog, and I said to myself I must find this stamp.  Well it was much more difficult then I imagined it would be.  However I did post in a couple different stamp groups on facebook and this lovely lady messaged me and said she thought she might have it in her supplies and would be willing to part with it.  My goodness she did indeed find it and I was able to purchase it from her.  I LOVE it.   I made her this card as a thank you.  I hope she likes it.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The background with little gold dots just seemed to say champagne bubbles to me, as did the gold brad on the top of the card.  I had to triple up on the ribbon below to made a wider band, but it still looks nice.  I flipped the sketch to suit my brand new retired stamp.  Have you ever searched for a stamp set?  I hope that's not considered coveting what someone else had.  I think of it more as being inspired.  😉

I'm also sharing a picture of my latest little add in at my Etsy shop.  These are homemade decorative seed envelopes for the gardeners in our lives. I hope they are a hit in the shop.

FMS370 Over the Rainbow, Two-step border builders, Stampin Up

Today I made this thank you card for the woman I purchased this Stampin up set from.  It is called, Over the rainbow.
I  decided I'd play along with the challenge at:
I went for minimal layers on this card.  Just one to give it a bit of a border.  I also used an older stampin up set (2002)called Two Step stampin border builders.     I decided not to color in the letters of the sentiment but rather ink up a stamp and go "rainbow" with it.   I added a few little embellishments to make it sparkle.

I'm also adding a picture of the cute little pulp board calendars I made for desk and counter tops.  I added them to my etsy shop.  I don't think $5.00 is to much to ask for them.  What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Challenge 389 Cross Stitched Christmas Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at: Try Stampin On Tuesday

The optional theme is:  Birthday.

However I wanted to play with my new stampin up set called Cross Stitched Christmas.    I thought  this would be the perfect sketch to show case this stamp set.   And quite honestly I skipped a step, and not until the whole thing was stamped and put together did I realize I forgot to add the extra part of the tree.  Yikes.   So I quick tried to align the little "X's"  and make it look complete.  By golly it worked.  Yay.

I thought I'd include a picture of my little HP all snuggled in his New Christmas bed.  He's not ever had a big boy bed.  There is room for him, a blankie and few beloved toys.

I look forward to reading your comments.

CTS #304 First Frost Stampin Up

My first time playing with my new stampin up set called First Frost.  What a lovely set, and it paired amazingly well with the washi tape that I had on hand.
I'm most excited to submit this card to the challenge at:
After stamping and die cutting I had to place the flowers just right on the washi tape.
I added a trio of little white pearls around the flowers for elegance.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #298~stampendous Bouquet for you

I made this card for the woman I bought this stamp set from.  I like to do that.  I think that, thank you notes and cards in general are becoming a lost art.  But I just want her to know how much I appreciate the stamps.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

I will submit this card to  the challenge at: Tuesday Morning Sketches
I had some poinsettia paper left over and wanted to put it to good use.  So I thought I'd make a card using my new (retired) Christmas set from stampin up.    I had to thank the woman I bought it from, and in doing so she would have a Christmas card for her use.    I also made an extra card that I will be adding to my etsy shop

The stamp sets featured in today's cards are:
Stampin Up:  Reason for the Season
Stampin Up: Wonderful Year

HSSSC305~Paw Prints, Dogs, Stampin Up Hearts.

I made this card today for my daughter and son-in-law.  They were so gracious to come along shopping to Michael's the other day so I could get some glue for my cards and projects, and of course a few other small items.  However when I got home and was putting my things away, I noticed a cute little paw print stamp.  The little darlings had bought it for me and slipped it in my bag for a surprise.  So this is the card I made with it, and a few other stamps too.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
