HSSSC305~Paw Prints, Dogs, Stampin Up Hearts.

I made this card today for my daughter and son-in-law. They were so gracious to come along shopping to Michael's the other day so I could get some glue for my cards and projects, and of course a few other small items. However when I got home and was putting my things away, I noticed a cute little paw print stamp. The little darlings had bought it for me and slipped it in my bag for a surprise. So this is the card I made with it, and a few other stamps too.

CTS #303 Hello Cupcake, Stampin Up

It's always so exciting to play with new stampin up products this is called Hello Cupcake. Gosh it's a swell set.

We have have been very busy the past few days. Our son came home, which is always a fun time. He wanted to get his hair cut for the new year. So off came about 10-11 inches of hair. Then he wanted to do an oil change in his car before heading south again.

We built our lego camper and truck and deli. He let me know that they actually have lego sets that light up.. Oh how exciting.

I went to Michael's today with my daughter and son-in-law and bless their hearts they worked hard to get my glue for me. It was in stock but in boxes on the top shelf. I then came home to put my things away, and the little sweethearts purchased a paw print stamp for me. I will be making a card with that tomorrow.

Challenge #91 New York, New Year

Once in a blue moon, I make a card that just makes me happy. This would be my "blue moon" card. I have always loved New York City and would love to visit there someday. Especially during the Christmas season through the New Year.

I thought what a great opportunity to play along with the challenge at:

Where the Theme is "something new" So I went for NEW York, in the New Year. Don't ya just love that little taxi cab too?

TMR#101 Wonderful Life, Winter Woods, Star of Light, Stampin Up

Well folks, this is my third card for the first day of 2019. I was most excited with the vision I had in my mind. I could see it so clearly. A snowy winter night watching the fireworks welcoming in the New year and sending out the old year with a big bang. However making this happen was not going according to plans, and of course I come up with my best ideas, after the glue had set and the picture taken. So I guess it will have to do. But heat embossing those fireworks display might have been the answer instead of the glitter pen and little diamond jewels.

The second card I made for today will be for my dad. My mom passed away one year ago January 13th. I wanted to make him a special card to let him know I'm thinking about him. Mom really liked the song: Yellow Rose of Texas. So hence the yellow rose.
