Sketch #351~Heartfelt, Heart Happiness, Stampin Up, Happy Valentine's Day

The card I made today I will submit to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Heartfelt
Stamping Up:  Heart Happiness

What a lovely weaved sketch.  Makes me want to do the whole background with it.  It gives such nice depth to the card.   I'm grateful for the gals that come up with the sketches.

I've been on the phone today quite a bit with our insurance company and then also the doctor's office.  They want to refer me to a  "rheumatologist".  They did but I can't get in until the 15th of June, and my doctor said that's not fast enough and  perhaps a different city would get me in faster, so that's where we are at right now, waiting for the referral team to contact me. So we wait, and in the waiting, I shall stamp  and read. The two escapes from my troubles.  😊

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Week 359: REPEAT ~On To Adventure, Golfing

I made this card today for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  On to Adventure

The cue card word is "repeat"  and I thought perhaps golfing would illustrate that word perfectly.  Practice makes perfect "they say"  so we must repeat, and keep on practicing for that hole in one.  Believe me I'm no expert.  I've only played mini golf, However, I suppose the principle still applies.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

CTS #354.~Heartfelt, Very Versailles, Stampin Up, Stampendous, Love Always, Happy Valentine's Day Mouse

I love mixing older stamps with new.   The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: Heartfelt
Stampin Up: Very Versailles
Stampendous Love Always
and last but not least, and certainly the little star of this card, the Mouse stamp, which happens to be a stampin up item, however, I purchased it at a second hand shop and it didn't come in a set.  If you know the name of the set, please let me know.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

I suppose you can say I paper pieced the heart with the matching card stock on the side.   The light background behind Miss. Mousy reminded me of an old time love letter .     There was indeed a lot of fussy cutting, right down to that little flower in the corner of the heart, but it was worth it.  Absolutely adorable.

TMS #536~ Kind Koala, Painter's Palette, Heartfelt, Happy Valentine's Day

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Kind Koala
Stampin Up:  Painter's Palette
Stampin Up:  Heartfelt

I did a little splash work on the artist's canvas to give a bit of background for Mr. Koala.  I added a little sparkle bling to the center of the flower, and some sparkly twine behind the sentiment.

I'm  pleased to say that both packages of eggplant card stock have arrived, and I will now start putting together the invites for my friend's wedding.   I'll be sharing pictures in future posts.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #350 Heartfelt Stampin Up Valentine's Day Card

Hello Friends.   I made quite a commitment this year to finish off Bible studies I've started and  neglected over the years.  I truly love to study my Bible, I just set myself up to become overwhelmed by starting many different books.  I thought to myself should I receive a miracle of healing I don't want these years to be a waste of me not using my time wisely for the LORD.  So after a morning of reading I wanted to squeeze in some time for crafting.  I should also mention I'm in the process of making wedding cards for a friend.  Gosh I hope they turn out to be everything she ever wanted.  A quick story with that.  My friend happened to start off as my water therapist after surgery, and then I found out she was a photographer so she did my daughter's senior pictures and then 2 years ago, my daughter's wedding.  So I'm honored to make invites for her.  Just hope I can make them super fabulous.  I've only made one other set of invites and that was for our daughter, and that was a labor of love.  They were a tri-fold invite with inserts and then to  finish it off we wax sealed them.   One more reason I'm thankful my daughter had a small wedding.  I can't believe in a couple weeks they will be married two years already.  Oh goodness I'm rabbit trailing with thoughts and sharing so much.
Onto the card.  Today i made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card today is:
Stampin Up:  Heartfelt
I decided to use a deeper color then red for this lovely Valentine card.  I also used a piece of vellum that I had in my stash.   I punched it out to lay over the heart so you could see the fancy background of the stamped image.  I then pop dotted a little heart on top to give it some dimension.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
And for listening to my ramblings.

FMS416~ Wonderful Year, Cheers to That, Stampin Up

I decided to let the DSP do most of the work for me on this card.  I didn't have the energy to even look at my stamps.  But yet I wanted to stamp.  haha.. oh the struggle is real.   I suppose because I had a little outing today with my daughter.  We went to Barnes and Noble book store.  Such a delight, but also very exhausting for me.  I have a hard time with standing.  Any ways I really wanted to make a card, and I found this wonderful challenge to play along with:
The stamp sets that I did use are:
Stampin up:  Wonderful Year

Sketch #349 Merry Moose, Stampin Up, Ginger Bread Men. Merry Christmas

Hello, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, and the New year is off and running to a fabulous start.  I'm still in the Christmas Spirit here.  So I decided to make a Christmas card for the sketch at:

Now I had envisioned this card to look a lot more lovelier then it does.    The ribbon was what sold me on going with a gingerbread theme.  I  thought it would tie in lovely, almost resembling the icing for on ginger bread cookies.    The  stamps used in this card are  some dollar stamps that I purchased ages ago at a local craft store.  Perhaps that's why the images didn't turn out to swell.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up:  Merry Moose.

Next up is a picture of HP, with his new Christmas boots, it's was quite a hoot when my husband and son first put them on Hunter for Christmas.  He wouldn't move, then when he walked it was  more like a gallop.  Any ways he still don't like putting them on, but walks much better now and is getting use to them.  IT makes paw clean up way easier when he comes back inside.  He has a bit of a sassy look here as he waits with his front paws on the back step to be let back in the house.  Such a little cutie.

Next up is this cute little gift card my kids gave me for Christmas.  Today I was able to go with my daughter and get some books.  I'm most excited.  Of course putting me in a book store, to which I forgot my reading glasses, is like putting me in a stampin up store.  Oh my gosh if my legs could hold up, I'd be there all day.  Thank goodness my kids understand and are readers themselves.  I did have to put one book back.  Just didn't want to overspend the budget even with my delightful gift card for which I'm so grateful.  So next time I will get The Autobiography of Henry VIII.    I did get quite the collection.  I have to finish with my book now, America's First Daughter.

Well I'm going to try and work a bit harder on selling Stampin Up products this year, so you might see me post things a bit more.  Since I can't work right now  I thought this might help me out with the supplies for my hobby.  I know I sure would appreciate the business.

If you have any helpful tips that would be grand.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
