Sketch #372 Beautiful Ride, Love Bug, Stampin UP

I'm still trying to get use to this new blogger.  So things might look a little different until I figure it out.
However, I'm most excited to say thank you to a new blog follower.  That made my day to see I now have 101.. reminds me of the 101 Dalmatians Disney movie.  Ooh and I love it.
Today I made this card for the challenge at:
Oh My goodness I really blew this sketch.   First I had to turn it because I didn't measure my little love bug, and he didn't fit on the card.  And just now as I'm writing my blog, I realize that the sketch intended to be in in the upper left hand corner of the card.  Oh boy.  You can see my focus is all wacky.

Well any ways the stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up: Beautiful Ride
I used the wax paper technique to create the colors on the love bug.  To give it a real retro look.

I'm also including a video (hopefully) of the little storage box I made for my 6x6 DSP.  I am very happy with how it turned out.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

FMS438 ~Jar of Flowers, Crafting Forever, Vintage Vogue, Very Versailles, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at: Freshly Made Sketches

The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up:  Very Versailles
Stampin Up:  Vintage Vogue
Stampin Up:  Crafting Forever
Stampin Up:  Jar of Flowers

I thought I would use my new little mason jar for something other then flowers.    The sentiment goes with it perfectly.

I'm still struggling with the new blogger.  If anyone knows how to manage the pictures so when a view clicks on them they get bigger.  Please let me know.  I struggle so much with this blog.  Always something to learn.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Sketch #371 ~Garden In Bloom, Stampin up, Friends

Oh my goodness, I have not stamped in a few days.  Life has just been crazy here.  I wish I could share things with you, but I'm not at liberty to do so right now.  It involves a few other people, and they  would prefer things not be public.  However, in my own life,  it is amazing how God takes care of us.  We drove to pick our son up at the Minneapolis airport on May 28th.  As some of you know I can't do much anymore and so the drive was hard.  But I was grateful to have gotten there and back with no troubles.   However the next day I woke up in a lot of pain and hubby took me in to the walkin department which transferred me to ER  because of kidney stones.  Oh my goodness that was some ordeal.  I'm happy to say that one of the little stones made the trip out and did not have to be surgically removed like 20 years ago.  oh gosh still apparently have quite a few in the ole kidney.. so YIKES.. if ya you could remember me in prayer I surely would appreciate that.  Thankyou.   Any ways as you can imagine, just not up to par, and not able to stamp or concentrate, just feeling blah.   Our son and girlfriend are living with us now for awhile.  So life proves to be interesting as always.   Oh and I'm also trying to still get use to this new blogger.   Little changes always seem to throw a stick in my spoke.  So if anyone knows how to make sure the pictures enlarge when you click on them please let me know.  I really need the help with technology.  Thank you in advance to all you marvelous geniouses out there that have helped me out in the past.

Well after that long story, onto the card.  I made this for one of my favorite challenges to play along with:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Garden in Bloom.

I absolutely love the bumble bee in this set.   I used a DSP for the first little narrow panel, then I made my own you might say using the bee.  and then carried through a little strip of the golden yellow from the background.

Thank you for listening to me ramble on and for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

SSC232 GETTING SQUARED ~ Home to Roost Stampin Up, Enjoy the Simple Moments

I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card today is:

Stampin Up:  Home to Roost.

I love how the burlap adds such nice dimension to the card.  I always struggle coloring the rooster.   I wanted to make sure he blended well with the colors I chose for the card stock.

Well, I'm still trying to use the new blogger, and frankly it's not going well.  Apparently now my viewers can't click on the picture image to make it bigger while reading my blog.  If any one knows how to fix this problem, I sure would appreciate the help.  I know I've reached out before to my blog buddies and you always come through for me.  So thank you for being so patient with me while I navigate another new road.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping   ðŸ’—PJ

TMS #556 Under My Umbrella, Over the Rainbow, Stampin Up, Over the Rainbow Card

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Under My Umbrella
Stampin Up:  Over the Rainbow

I drifted a bit from the sketch and blurred the lines there with my rainbow, however I did stick to the original rainbow colors and finished off the colors on the inside of the card with the 3 hearts at the bottom.  I added glossy accents to the raindrops and clear wink of stella to the umbrella to make it appear wet.   I like how this card turned out.

Well, I'm giving the new blogger a try.  Change is not something that comes easy for me, so this is most assuredly a learning process for me.   I'm hoping I will warm up to this new way.

I'm also most excited to announce that yesterday I had two sales in my stampin up webpage.. OH my goodness, I'm so happy.  That was such a lovely surprise.    Thank you Jesus for such a blessing.

* Please stop in at my Etsy shop.   You might just find a stamp or stamp set you NEED to purchase.  I know I'd greatly appreciate it.  I really need to unload a few stamps.  To make room for the new.   Perhaps if you find one you really like,  we can negotiate a price that seems reasonable for us both.
